Riding a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and treat yourself in the beauty of the countryside, visit the family business, visit honey-bee farm, enjoy honey tea and coconut candy workshop.
Have lunch at local restaurant. Break time.
In the afternoon, time for cycling around the Tan Thach village, meet the local villagers to experience the local daily life in the Mekong delta. Hammock relaxing and enjoy cool breeze for those can’t join the cycling trip.

Had a fabulous experience!!! - If you are in Ho chi minh city, Mekong delta boat tour is a must. Thank you team GADT travel for this amazing experience. You guys really helped us with everything in vietnam.

Authentic Mekong Delta experience - It was an excellent experience right from the beginning. The operator was proactive in following up with us to ensure we reached the right place from which the tour would start. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. We got to see how coconut candy was manufactured, taste a bit of the coconut candy, taste snake wine, travel in a bamboo boat along a tributary of the Mekong Delta, feed the fish, feed the crocodiles (one has to pay extra for this), visit a honey farm and sample the honey, listen to a folk song sung by the locals (this was really beautiful) and visit a nearby Pagoda which had three fascinating statues of a laughing buddha, reclining buddha and a female buddha.
Overall the tour took about 9 hours to complete and was well worth the experience. We are glad that we chose to do the Mekong Delta full day tour instead of clubbing it along with Cu Chi tunnels as that would have been really tiring. A full day tour allows you to experience the Mekong Delta at a leisurely pace.
This tour run by GADT travels is very well organized and highly recommended for travellers.

Best experience ever ! - This is Raghav ethan here ! Recently visited hcmc!! !!! WoW experience! What An amazing trip ! Loved it ! Great service by Gadt travel who arranged our tour to Mekong delta and the cu chi tunnels .. both were well guided and smooth experience! Worth it ! Would love to travel again with them in future !

To do - The excursion is very nice and very varied and very fun! We eat fruit, honey, play music... The Mekong Delta is magnificent and should be done without any hesitation! I just wish the boat ride lasted more than 15 minutes! Otherwise go there with your eyes closed

Excellent Meckong Delta day trip by GADT & Rose - I would like to write a review for Meckong Delta day trip organised by GADT travels. It was a very well organised trip. Since we were travelling with infants, we have a lot of specific requirements. All those were very well taken care of by our tour guide. Special mention for Ms Rose (Hoa Nyuyen) who ensured everything was smoothly arranged and was at help whenever we needed anything. would recommend GADT travel and especially Rose for all Vietnam tour and travel requirement.
We really enjoyed the local cuisine and the boat ride.

Sooo peaceful - We visited 2 islands, the unicorn and the dragon. It was lovely and so peaceful. The nature is great, the boats in the river is calming and the souvenirs are good. I bought coconut shell bowls, spoons and a rice wine of piton&scorpio :)

Great for an hour - Well something I was, expecting to be breath taking left me feeling a bit ungrateful... Sorry but an hour ea h day was enough for me. It was more like an 18 to 30 boat crawl with people getting bladdered and playing music load. Honestly I would have love it 20 years ago so please don't think I'm moaning but not quite what I expected.. The arrival in Pak beng was a bit strange, and wish I had of booked accommodation prior to arriving so suggest you do otherwise you'll end up feeling like a sheep herded into a tuck tuck dropped at some random hotel with no air con and looking decidedly dirty and tired. Thus place shuts up shop at 930 to 10 so don't think it's like Chiang Mai or Chiang Rai otherwise you could well be food less as your experience will havd been everything closes at midnight... I showered changed strolled down and was nothing open apart from a random shop.
I can honestly say 30s and under will love but elder statesmen be aware unless you want to get drunk you'll be surrounded by people on a different level. Captive audience on boat so please please bring food and drink as not cheap on the boat. All in all an experience some amazing some not but this is just my opinion and anything is worth a try once.
