Lung Khuy Cave - 11:45 AM:
The journey continues to Tam Son Town for a delicious traditional lunch. Afterwards, the trip heads to Lung Khuy Village, where an invigorating 4 km hike awaits. The destination is the mysterious Lung Khuy Cave, a hidden gem nestled in the rugged hills. Explore the cave’s natural beauty for about an hour before heading to the Lung Tam Weaving Village, where local H’mong people continue the ancient art of linen weaving, crafting beautiful, handmade clothing. A short distance from the weaving village is Bat Dai Son, a viewpoint where the awe-inspiring landscapes of Quan Ba, with its undulating hills and valleys, can be marveled at.
Quan Ba - 5:00 PM:
Arrival at the homestay in Can Ty, a tranquil spot surrounded by nature. After settling in, a 2 km walk leads to the famous Lonely Tree (Cây Cô Đơn)—a 250-year-old tree standing proudly in the middle of a vast, open field. In the evening, relax and enjoy a homestyle dinner, sharing stories with fellow travelers as everyone unwinds and prepares for the adventure that awaits the next day.
Can Ty Commune – Tham Ma Pass – H’mong King Palace – Lung Cu – Nho Que – Talung Ecolodge (Meo Vac)
Dong Van - After breakfast, the journey begins from Can Ty to Tham Ma Pass, one of the most beautiful stretches of road in Vietnam. As the 1,500-meter-high pass is ascended, a stop at the viewpoint offers sweeping vistas of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
Dinh Vua Meo - A 20 km drive leads to Vua Meo Mansion (H’mong King Palace), a century-old mansion valued at over 150 billion VND. The palace, once belonging to the powerful H’mong King, is steeped in history and local legends. The tour guide shares captivating stories about the H’mong ethnic group and the royal family’s legacy.
Lung Cu Flag Tower - The journey continues to Lung Cu Commune to visit the Lung Cu Flag Tower, the northernmost point of Vietnam. Climbing over 400 steps rewards with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and the Chinese border, just 3 km away.

Talung Ecolodge (Meo Vac) – Mau Due Commune – Thai An – Ha Giang City
Meo Vac - After breakfast, the journey heads back towards Meo Vac, offering the chance to explore the traditional H’mong villages. These remote villages are known for their distinct stone gates and tightly-knit houses that preserve the region’s ancient culture. The journey continues towards Sa Ly Pass, a beautiful stretch of road offering sweeping views of M-shaped curves and vibrant green fields. Keep an eye out for children in traditional costumes, carrying baskets of food on their backs, adding to the picturesque scene.
Yen Minh - 10:00 AM:
Arrival at Duong Thuong Commune in Yen Minh District, a tranquil village where time seems to stand still. The vast cornfields and charming local life make it a photographer’s paradise.
Quan Ba - 12:30 PM:
A leisurely lunch at Can Ty Village precedes the continuation of the journey towards Thai An Commune, following scenic roads through Thuan Hoa Commune. The 65 km journey brings everyone back to Ha Giang City.
Ha Giang - 4:30 PM:
The tour concludes at the QT guesthouse in Ha Giang, where relaxation is possible before boarding the bus back to Hanoi or continuing travels to other destinations.

To truly experience the Northern Ha Giang Loop, a minimum of three days is recommended. This timeframe, humorously referred to as ‘hurry, hurry,’ involves three extensive days of motorcycling. This schedule leaves little room for additional activities like trekking and limits the time available to explore the numerous attractions along the loop.
The tour will cover the entire loop, including highlights such as Heaven’s Gate, the Highland of Stone, Dong Van, the Ma Pi Leng mountain pass, and the scenic backroads of the stunning inner Ha Giang mountains.
There will be no leisurely mornings, as each day will start on the road at 8 am. Participants have the option to self-drive or ride pillion (behind a guide/driver). For those choosing to self-drive, prior motorcycling experience is strongly recommended.
Accommodation includes one night in an ethnic minority homestay and one night in a hotel, with the option to spend both nights in a homestay.
