Ha Giang – Yen Minh - Heaven Gate - Tam Son – Tham Ma Pass - H’mong King Palace - Dong Van

Quan Ba Heaven Gate - At 8:30 AM, everyone gathers at the meeting point at our office to begin the excursion. The journey on the first day takes us uphill to Quan Ba, where breathtaking views of mountains, villages, and ethnic minority groups await. Highlights include the Heaven Gate in Tam Son, hiking around Quan Ba, visiting the Twins Hill, and exploring Nam Dam village of the Dao ethnic group. Lunch is served in Yen Minh town, featuring local and organic foods, accompanied by your guide and driver.

Dinh Vua Meo - Continuing uphill, we explore the Rocky Highland and Karst Plateau on the way to Dong Van, offering stunning and incredible views of the rocky mountains. The guide will also take you to visit an ancient building, constructed over a hundred years ago in Chinese style, at Vuong King’s Palace, who led about 70,000 H’Mong ethnic people in the area. In the late afternoon, stroll around the town to see the Old Quarter, where Chinese and Vietnamese traded goods.

Dong Van - After visiting the Hmong King Palace, continue to Dong Van town for an overnight stay. In the evening, enjoy a walk around the ancient town to learn about and experience the local culture.

Dong Van- Happy Road - Ma Pi Leng Pass - Nho Que River - Meo Vac - Bao Lac

Ma Pi Leng Pass - After breakfast, the excursion resumes with a ride to see the most amazing path in Ha Giang. A 40-minute ride takes us to Ma Pi Leng Pass, offering one of the most spectacular views in Vietnam from limestone mountains. Between the cliffs, the unique Nho Que River can be seen. The tour includes an exciting ride down to the Nho Que River via a trail road, featuring the amazing 29-step snake road. Upon arrival at the river, enjoy a cruise to explore the area, with the option to kayak for added fun. Spend an hour here to soak in the views and take photos.

Bao Lac - In the late afternoon, after lunch at a traditional local restaurant, the ride continues to Bao Lac via Meo Vac, showcasing the amazing Karst Plateau Geopark area and beautiful villages. Arrive in Bao Lac around 5 PM, check in, relax, and enjoy dinner.

Bao Lac - Me Pia Pass - Cao Bang - Phia Thap Village

Cao Bang - Embark on a 130-km motorbike ride from Bao Lac to Cao Bang, known for its charming geo-cultural sites. The remote lands offer some of the most gorgeous landscapes in Vietnam. Nestled among vast forests and mountains, Cao Bang boasts year-round fresh, cool air. Ride through incredible limestone caves, spectacular waterfalls, majestic mountains, and local villages, making it a must-visit for adventure enthusiasts.

Ban Gioc Waterfall - Detian Falls - Although the road from Bao Lac to Cao Bang is relatively easy, it features many blind curves, so caution is advised. Along the way, the group can stop for lunch and take stunning photos. Continue riding to visit the spectacular Phia Thap village of the Nung Minority, where an overnight stay at a homestay awaits. Arrive in the afternoon, allowing free time to explore the village before dinner and an overnight stay.

Phia Thap- Muong Ngao - Ban Gioc Waterfall - Cao Bang

Ban Gioc Waterfall - Detian Falls - After breakfast, depart for the poetic and majestic Ma Phuc Pass, one of the most marvelous passes on Highway 3 and a favorite stop for tourists exploring Northeast Vietnam’s hidden charm. Conquer undulating mountains, sharp curves, and green terraced fields glowing under the afternoon sun. Visit Muong Ngao Cave, a spectacular cave, for about an hour.

Cao Bang - Ride to the romantic Ban Gioc Waterfall, the largest waterfall in stunning Vietnam. Surrounded by vast green forests and emerald waters cascading from above, Ban Gioc Waterfall is as breathtaking as a fairy tale, captivating tourists worldwide. Despite its popularity, it retains its untouched beauty. Take a bamboo craft tour to view steep cliffs and uniquely shaped rocks covered in green moss. The scenery is spectacular.

Lunch is served in the late afternoon at a nearby local restaurant, followed by a ride back to Cao Bang City for an overnight stay.

Cao Bang - Ba Be Lake

Ba Be - After breakfast, head to Ba Be National Park, renowned for its stunning scenery. Nestled among high limestone ranges, Ba Be Lake is the largest freshwater lake in the country and never dries up. If time permits, take a boat tour to explore the lake further. Continue riding to the peaceful Tay village of Pac Ngoi, where, if arriving early, you can cruise on the lake or explore the area on foot.

Ba Be - Hanoi Flexible Day

Ba Be - After breakfast, choose between kayaking, cruising on the lake, or trekking, depending on the day’s schedule. Enjoy the final moments of the trip before heading back to Hanoi. It’s a long ride, so an early start is recommended. After breakfast, pack your backpack, and a bus or car will pick you up for a safe journey back to Hanoi, concluding the trip around 5 PM, depending on your plan, with the possibility of leaving Hanoi at noon.
