Ha Giang – Yen Minh - Heaven Gate - Tam Son – Tham Ma pass - H’mong King palace - Dong Van

Quan Ba Heaven Gate - At 8:30 AM, we all gather at our office meeting point to begin our journey. The first day’s adventure takes us uphill to Quan Ba, where we can enjoy stunning views of mountains, villages, and ethnic minority groups. Highlights include the Heaven Gate in Tam Son, hiking around Quan Ba, visiting the Twins Hill, and exploring Nam Dam village of the Dao ethnic group. Lunch will be served in Yen Minh town, featuring local and organic foods, accompanied by your guide and driver.

Dinh Vua Meo - We continue our uphill journey to witness the Rocky Highland and Karst Plateau on the way to Dong Van. The views of the rocky mountains are breathtaking. Your guide will also take you to visit an ancient building constructed over a hundred years ago in the Chinese architectural style at Vuong King’s Palace, who once led about 70,000 H’Mong ethnic people in this area. In the late afternoon, we will walk around the town to explore the Old Quarter, where Chinese traders once exchanged goods with the Vietnamese.

Dong Van - After visiting the Hmong King Palace, we proceed to Dong Van town, where you will spend the night. In the evening, you can stroll around the ancient town to learn about and experience the local culture.

Dong Van- Happy road - Ma Pi Leng pass-Nho Que River - Meo Vac- Bao Lac

Ma Pi Leng Pass - After breakfast, we resume our excursion. Today, we will ride along the most amazing path in Ha Giang, reaching Ma Pi Leng Pass in about 40 minutes. This pass offers one of the most spectacular views in Vietnam, with limestone mountains and a unique river, Nho Que, flowing between the cliffs. Our tour includes a thrilling ride down to Nho Que River via a narrow, winding trail road known as the 29-step snake road. Upon arrival, we will cruise on the river to explore the area, and you can also enjoy kayaking if you wish. Spend an hour here to take in the views and capture photos.

Bao Lac - In the late afternoon, after lunch at a traditional local restaurant, we will ride to Bao Lac Cao Bang, passing through Meo Vac and witnessing the stunning karst plateau geopark area and beautiful villages. We will arrive in Bao Lac around 5 PM, check in, relax, and enjoy dinner.

Bao Lac - Me Pia Pass - Cao Bang - Phia Thap Village

Cao Bang - Embark on a 130-km motorbike ride from Bao Lac to Cao Bang, known for its charming geo-cultural sites. This remote area boasts some of the most beautiful landscapes in Vietnam, with immense forests and mountains providing year-round fresh, cool air. Ride through incredible limestone caves, spectacular waterfalls, majestic mountains, and several local villages. Adventure enthusiasts will be captivated by the undeniable charm of this tourist destination.

Ban Gioc Waterfall - Detian Falls - Although the road from Bao Lac to Cao Bang is relatively easy, it features many blind curves, so caution is advised. Our group will make stops for lunch and photo opportunities along the way. We will then visit the spectacular Phia Thap village of the Nung Minority, where we will stay overnight at a homestay. Arriving in the afternoon, you will have free time to relax, walk around the village, and explore the area before dinner.

Phia Thap- Muong Ngao - Ban Gioc Waterfall - Cao Bang

Ban Gioc Waterfall - Detian Falls - After breakfast, we will leave the town and head straight to the poetic and majestic Ma Phuc Pass, one of the most marvelous passes on Highway 3 and a favorite stop for tourists exploring the hidden charm of Northeast Vietnam’s mountains. Conquer undulating mountains, sharp curves, and green terraced fields glowing yellow under the afternoon sunlight. We will visit Muong Ngao Cave, one of the most spectacular caves, for about an hour.

Cao Bang - Hop on your bike to the romantic Ban Gioc Waterfall, the largest waterfall in stunning Vietnam. Surrounded by vast deep green forests and emerald waters cascading from above, Ban Gioc Waterfall is as breathtaking as a fairy tale, captivating tourists from around the world. Despite its popularity, this hotspot retains its untouched beauty. Take a bamboo raft tour to admire the steep cliffs and uniquely shaped rocks covered in green moss. The contrasting colors create a spectacular scene.

Lunch will be served in the late afternoon at a nearby local restaurant. We will then ride back to Cao Bang City for an overnight stay.

Cao Bang - Ba Be Lake

Ba Be - After breakfast, we will head to Ba Be National Park, renowned for its stunning scenery. Nestled among high limestone ranges, Ba Be Lake is the largest freshwater lake in Vietnam and never dries up. If time permits, we can take a boat tour to explore the lake. We will continue riding until we reach the peaceful village of Pac Ngoi, home to the Tay people. If we arrive early, we can cruise on the lake or walk around to explore.

Ba Be - Hanoi (Flexible Day)

Ba Be - After breakfast, you have the option to go kayaking, cruising on the lake, or trekking, depending on the day’s schedule. Enjoy the final moments of the trip before heading back to Hanoi. It is a long ride, so we will start early with breakfast, pack your belongings, and a bus or car will pick you up for a safe journey back to Hanoi, concluding our trip around 5 PM. Depending on your plan, we may leave Hanoi at noon.
