Bac Sum Pass - The terraced fields at Bac Sum Pass present a stunning image, captivating tourists and photographers who are passionate about exploration.
Quan Ba Heaven Gate - Heaven’s Gate in Quan Ba once featured a massive door constructed in 1939 from crushed wood, 15cm thick, a unique characteristic not found elsewhere. Unfortunately, the door no longer exists due to the harsh weather conditions of the area.
Heaven’s Gate, as its name suggests, offers visitors a step into the clouds, reaching the sky that many aspire to conquer. It is typically a distant and elevated place where the sky meets the earth. Additionally, it is a site where positive and receptive energies converge. This renowned landmark in Ha Giang stands at an altitude of over 1500m, approximately 43 km from Ha Giang City. The Heaven Gate is nestled between two mountain peaks, low enough for a road to pass through, marking the beginning of the Happiness Road, the first gateway of Ha Giang. From the mountain, one can enjoy a panoramic view of the northeastern mountains and forests.
Fairy Bosom Mountain Viewpoint - Discover the enchanting beauty of Fairy Bosom Mountain. Visitors are not only drawn to the unique shape of the twin mountains but also to the surrounding landscape, a masterpiece of nature. Terraced fields interspersed with undulating mountain ranges create a vivid natural painting.
Legend tells of a talented Mong man who played the harp and won the heart of a heavenly fairy named Hoa Dao. She found a way to remain in this land, and they had a handsome baby boy. However, the Jade Emperor summoned her back. Feeling compassion for her husband, who struggled to raise their child alone, and for the child who lacked breast milk, she left her breast to nourish the child. The pair of plump breasts that fed her growing child eventually transformed into two mountains resembling her mother’s breasts, known as Fairy Bosom Mountain. Thanks to her milk, the region enjoys a cool climate, delicious fruits, fresh vegetables, and lush rice and corn.

Lung Tam Can Ty Pass Tham Ma Slope - Ancient House - Hmong King Palace - Dong Van - Enjoy Your Favorite Herbal Tea
Lung Tam Linen Cooperative - At Lung Tam flax production village, observe and learn the entire process of making clothes from the linen tree and dyes derived from Melaleuca trees. This unique process of the Hmong people takes a year for an average person to produce a set of clothes, requiring significant effort and resources. Yet, they continue this tradition because the attire is deeply connected to the Hmong religion and customs. A woman not wearing linen clothes when entering her husband’s house will not receive blessings from his ancestors. Similarly, a person not wearing linen clothes at death will not be protected by the gods.
Viewpoint Dốc Thẩm Mã (Upper) - In ancient times, horses were the sole means of transportation here. To select the best horses, their health was assessed by having them transport goods from the foot to the top of the slope. The horses that passed this test were kept as working tools, while the weaker ones were slaughtered. The slope earned its name, Thẩm Mã, from this practice.
Dinh Vua Meo - This unique palatial architecture on the Dong Van rock plateau mimics a part of China’s Qing Dynasty architecture, combined with Hmong patterns, French art, and defensive design. The palace is a blend of green stone, sandalwood, and terracotta tiles roofed in the yin-yang style. Despite the Vuong family’s historical ups and downs, it retains its original form, showcasing the beauty of supremacy and majesty. This rare architectural masterpiece embodies the power, wealth, and regalness of a King in the middle of the Dong Van rock plateau. Inside, many original artifacts like stone mortars, fireplaces, wooden tables and chairs, and stone baths are preserved.
Happiness Road Mapileng Mountain - M Pass - La Si Pass - Lung Ho Mau Due Peak - Dugia - Enjoy Your Favorite Herbal Tea
Thâm Luông Waterfall - Is this a fairy waterfall? It feels like stepping into a fairyland, a magnificent beauty. The lush vegetation resembles a green carpet, creating a peaceful space. The sound of water flowing over rocks is soothing. The waterfall cascades from the ravine to the cliffs, creating white foam. After a long journey, relaxing here, listening to the murmuring water, and soaking your feet in the cool water, all fatigue and worries seem to vanish.
Nam Lang - Lung Ho Viewpoint - Ancient French Post - Duong Thuong Canyon - Duong Thuong Pass - Ha Giang / Quan Ba
Viewpoint - Thung Lũng Lùng Tám - The viewpoint of Lung Ho village is surrounded by pyramid-shaped peaks, with a lush green color enveloping the entire area.
Di Tích Đồn Pháp - The French army post in Lung Ho was constructed between 1935 and 1940. Building the post was extremely challenging, with locals working as janitors, stone carriers, and water collectors. Those who disobeyed were beaten or shot. Militarily, Lung Ho Fort and Wall were large-scale constructions with a strategic position on the road from Lung Ho to Duong Thuong, preventing revolutionary activities in the Duong Thuong region of Vietnam during that period. The structure stands as evidence of the French occupation and operations in the remote mountainous area of Ha Giang province. Eighty years have passed since the war, and daily life has resumed, with the innocent smiles of children shining brightly in the remote mountainous areas of Dong Van Stone Plateau.
Valley View Disco Bar - From the mountain top, the view down to the foot of Duong Thuong Pass reveals roads that resemble blood vessels running through a body. This is also the only arterial route connecting this place with Ha Giang City.
A Boong Waterfall - This is the final stop before returning to Ha Giang City. Thuan An Waterfall, a tall and narrow cascade, creates a charming scene. The silver-white water flows down from the mountain top, fresh and cool. Walking inside the waterfall feels like stepping on a bed of small, smooth stones crafted by nature over millions of years. Each small yellow stone is visible through the clear water. The waterfall, resembling a giant shower, offers a unique experience amidst nature.
