The Call of the Wild: Setting Off from Rabil

As the sun began its ascent over the horizon, casting a golden hue across the landscape, I found myself in Rabil, the second largest town on Boa Vista Island. The air was thick with anticipation, a familiar feeling that always precedes an adventure. This time, it was the Boa Vista Quad Adventure that beckoned me. The promise of exploring the island’s eastern side on a quad bike was irresistible, especially with the allure of the Cabo Santa Maria shipwreck waiting to be discovered.

Our journey began with a briefing from the team, a group of enthusiastic and knowledgeable guides who ensured we were well-prepared for the ride ahead. As we revved our engines and set off, the thrill of the open road and the promise of discovery filled the air. Through the Sands and Time: Discovering Cabo Santa Maria

The path to Praia de Atalanta was a thrilling mix of sand and rock tracks, each twist and turn offering a new perspective of the island’s rugged beauty.
