Fully recommended! - I had an amazing experience doing the Open Water diving course here in Tenerife, and much of it I owe to instructor Sergio and his entire team. From the first moment the treatment was fantastic, always attentive, close and making me feel comfortable at all times.
Sergio proved to be an excellent instructor: he explained each part of the course clearly and in detail, with a lot of patience and professionalism. Thanks to his teaching, everything became very easy to understand and learn, even for someone starting from scratch.
In addition to learning a lot, I had a really good time throughout the course. The atmosphere was very pleasant and you can see that the whole team enjoys what they do and cares about the students having an unforgettable experience.
I definitely recommend it to everyone who wants to start diving or live a unique experience in Tenerife. As soon as I get the chance, I'll be back.

Super - Like a small diver family – my open water couldn’t have been better!
I did my Open Water Diver at Scubanana – and honestly I couldn’t have asked for a better place to do it. From the first moment I felt like I was not just a customer, but part of a small diver family.
The whole team is incredibly warm, patient and attentive. Especially as a beginner you have respect for the first real dive – but every uncertainty was taken seriously, everything was explained calmly and understandably, and I felt safe at all times. You immediately notice that the lessons are taught here with passion and genuine enthusiasm.
The theory was conveyed loosely and understandably, without pressure, but with a lot of professionalism. Underwater it was just magical: great visibility, impressive underwater landscapes and so many fish – I had goose bumps with happiness several times!
What makes Scubanana special to me is the atmosphere: lots of laughter, honest interest in people and a relaxed, family atmosphere. Sitting together after the dives, chatting and sharing the experiences was almost as nice as the diving itself.
I am incredibly grateful for this experience. A small dream has become a real passion – and I already know that I will be back.

Open Water Diver certification: 10/10 - I did the Open Water Diver course in Scubanana and it was a success. The staff is very professional and the treatment, wonderful. I loved its approach of combining learning with enjoyment, and also the marine fauna that can be observed in the area is very interesting. A highly recommended experience for diving lovers.

From uncertainty to surety - submerged bubbling joy - The course was a gift from my wife, I was a tiny bit tense regarding the use of snorkel (because of some childhood water trauma), and knowing I would have to take off the mask submerged, switching air, and just inhaling air under water!? Wtf! Not natural. But hey, phenomenal instructors! I was guided very well and taken care of supremely well. Did the exercises once, sometimes several until I got them satisfactorily. Instructors Cedric and Sergio were excellent. Calm and collected at all times. The atmosphere in the shop with the other instructors was very nice, and delightful Denise behind the counter was the smiling boss concierge.
I was surprised to see so much sea life, I witnessed trumpet fish, cuttle fish, star fish and even an octopus with a basketball size head! Awesome. I discovered under water joy! Thanks so much, folks!

Excellent, safe and clearly explained training - I booked my open water course with Scubanana in July. I had previous cold water experience training in Scotland but didn’t find the time to get fully qualified before our Tenerife holiday so after looking online Scubanana looked like the best school for me and they did not disappoint. All the instructor staff were amazing especially Marc and they explained everything really well. I felt really safe the whole time I was training which boosted my confidence. The shop and equipment was really nice and clean a nice environment to learn in. I wanted to get certified so that I could propose to my now fiancée who is already an experienced diver so the staff helped me do this on our first dive together after I was certified and filmed it for me which was absolutely amazing. This dive shop is definitely the best choice if you are thinking about learning to dive whilst in Tenerife as I said before I felt really safe the whole time which allowed me to enjoy it so much and as an added bonus they have dogs that come to the shop !

Amazing experience! - I did the Open Water and Advanced Open Water certifications with Scubanana and I can’t recommend them enough - they are absolutely brilliant. All of the instructors I worked with were amazing - really professional, highly knowledgeable, and passionate about their work, which really shows through. The whole experience was really enjoyable. I felt safe and in good hands the whole time. The dive sites were stunning too. Highly recommended!

The best choice!!!! - The best choice I could make. The place is great, you immediately feel like family.
I went with a lot of fears, but the instructor makes the entire course super enjoyable and also helped me know how to manage my stress underwater.
I recommend it 100x100!!!

Great Experience - Thankyou to Scubanana for an excellent experience whilst undertaking my Open Water Dive certification.
I felt very much supported by our professional instructors as they guided us through the two day course.
Such a privilege to be able to complete this course in such a beautiful part of the world.

A guided, rewarding challenge - The course was over two days and very intense. Theory and practice alternate at breakneck pace. Fortunately it's one of those challenges that come with a huge reward - by the end of the course, you'll realize just how much you've learned to be a citizen of this wonderful, alien underwater dimension.
We thoroughly enjoyed the course, thanks mostly to the fabulous instructors. Competent, enthusiastic and most importantly, very patient. The only one thing I would maybe change is the break times - lunch at 15, while conform to the Spanish traditions, is probably a bit late for every other nationality, and makes the day harder.
I am very very happy to have taken my OWD certification here. Thoroughly recommended.
