Highly recommended - Ideal for people in their late fifties. No overstrenuous hikes but still you can get to see many wonders. The tour guide lady was awesome and very helpful, translating instructions to English and Slovenian. They called before the hotel pick up, that was appreciated. Highly recommended and honestly thinking it was worth the money in case you do not want to drive around by yourself (especially some narrow mountains roads need experience).

Amazing Experience! - Amazing experience! All the stops were stunning and there were a few chances to swim. Optional activities in Bovec were canceled due to low water levels in Soca but enjoyed additional time at other stops. Guide Alex was personable and helpful.

A Great Overview to a Truly Stunning Corner of The World - Kudos to our wonderful guide Alex for showing our little group the highlights of the Julian Alps and Soca Valley. She packed A LOT into the 8 hr tour. Alex was a wealth of information. My only regret is that we didn't have another 4 hours so we could have stayed in a few areas longer.

Nature at its finest - An incredible day with our guide Savina who expertly drove us for the 200km journey and provided great information on Slovenian history, culture, nature etc. The waterfall, lakes and mountains were breathtaking. I wouldn’t have been able to have seen this all without a guide and transport. I swam/dipped in all the lakes (very cold but worth it) and the rafting activity was a lot of fun. Fun and nature loving day!

A great day out in nature. A highlight. - Just a wonderful tour with beautiful views of lakes and mountains. We had great weather, an inspirational and friendly local guide and a small group of 4, where we all got along. We hit all the main sights and never felt rushed. The first morning stop, Peričnik Waterfall, can get a bit chilly and slightly wet, so bring at least a warmer light jacket. There was a short hike to get up behind the small waterfall- it's the most physically demanding part of the tour, but perfectly manageable going slow and steady. We got some nice pictures of water droplets against the sunshine, and our guide took a group photo for us. Next was a simply beautiful view of the Špik Mountain Range. There was a path that you just want to take to get closer to them, but sadly, we weren't there for that. Our guide took a great group photo here and we were able to enjoy this view for awhile over coffee. This nearby cafe had issues processing all our foreign credit cards that day, so best to have some cash with you. Emerald Zelenci Springs was another highlight. There weren't many other visitors to spoil our enjoyment. We got a group photo here too. At Lake Predil, we had free time to walk around or have some food (BYO). Then it was time to be dropped off for those of us who booked the Soca River rafting. Just wanted to mention that the company we were handed over to was Aktivni Planet (overall good experience; will review them separately). The lady from our group who opted out apparently spent the 3hr with our guide and had a lovely time eating and visiting some beaches/rivers. Our guide was waiting for us when we were done rafting. The gorge next was OK; a recreational area for the locals. We watched people jump off cliffs into the green waters, paddle and swim. Vršič Pass was great- saw the lady's face in the mountain, some sheep and cows on our stops. Lastly, Lake Jasna was a picturesque place for photos (particularly towards the left hand side of the wooden tower). Many families were here; good to have an ice cream and walk all around it. I'd suggest booking direct with Altitude Activities for better prices.

Perfect Alpine Day Trip - Sometimes when you book a tour you’re not sure what you’re really going to get. Well, on this tour, I got exactly what I had hoped for! Fantastic mountain and valley scenery. Cool and refreshing waterfall, lakes and streams. Informative and interactive guides. Un-rushed stops and time for shopping, eating and photos. If you like the alpine environment, you’ll enjoy this tour. Great job guys!

Best way to see highlight of Triglav national Park - Most beautiful tour ever! Our guide Savina was super fun, knowledgeable, and accommodating. You get to see many site in the national park. I recommend wearing clothes that are easily changed in/out of as there are many swimming opportunities. Bring plenty of water and snacks. Out group got to eat lunch because nobody did the additional activity, but it’s a long day. Very worth it! Most amazing swimming and vistas.
