Fantastic experience - Tadej was a fantastic tour guide. He was prompt picking us up and provided clear information throughout the day. We loved the fact we were given details of the vehicle and the number plate of whom was picking us up. We liked being part of a small group tour of 8 people including Tadej. The things we saw and experienced on the day were brilliant - from walking in the Triglav National Park to visiting Lake Boninj. Ample time was given in each place so we did not feel at all rushed. We enjoyed being driven through the Slovenian countryside to experience the “real” Slovenia.

Triglav Highlights! - Great tour of the highlights of Triglav. We would never have been able to hit all of these spots on our own in a day. Drove on a crazy country road as well to get a spectacular view through the valley. It didn’t quite feel like enough time in Bohinj to have lunch at a restaurant and enjoy the lake. I’m not sure they can add more time at Bohinj so echoing what others have said about packing your own lunch.

Magic - Magnificent excursion to discover Slovenian nature. Good balance between the van ride and visits to the different spots. Just magical. Very nice guide.

Cannot do better than this! - The trip was beautiful and our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Did not rush us, allowed us time to take pictures and walk at our comfort level. Truly a lovely experience! We want to come back and do the cave kayak tour. I recommend this tour company to all skill levels. Enjoy!

Must do visit from Lake Bled to see stunning scenery. - We booked this tour through GetyourGuide prior to arriving in Lake Bled and paid £86 pp. We were picked up at the Pr1mo office in Bled which was around a 10 min walk from our hotel the Rikkli Balance. There were only 7 of us in total plus the driver / guide in a comfortable minibus. The driver Jas was great, really friendly, provided loads of info about Slovenia in general and about all of the places we visited in the Triglav National Park, good sense of humour too. The first stop of the day was at the Savica waterfall sitting in the mountains above Lake Bohinj. It was about a 15-20 min walk uphill through the forest to reach the viewpoint overlooking the waterfall, but the walk was definitely worth the effort. It wasn't a particularly taxing walk for somebody of average fitness and the path through the forest was pretty good. The waterfall itself was stunning (although you don't get that close to it) and there were stunning views looking back to Lake Bohinj as the mist began to lift across the valley. Next was a 40 min stop at Lake Bohinj, time to get some photos and a brew at a local cafe. Again views were stunning. We then got back in the bus and headed up into the mountains to the beautiful Poklijuka Plateau. The drive was through winding country roads with continued amazing views. We stopped for around 15 mins to take photos and take in the scenery before continuing our journey to the Vintgar Gorge. Entrance to the Gorge was included in the price of the trip and after getting our tickets we were left to ourselves to make the one way trip through the gorge. This is a popular attraction and gets pretty busy. A mixture of pathways and wooden boardwalks lead you through the gorge, as you admire the river, and waterfalls charging through the rock walls. It takes about 40 mins to walk through the gorge taking photos along the way. At the end of the gorge there was an uphill walk for about 10 mins to meet Jas at the local village where he had parked the bus. Next stop was for lunch at the Jasna Lake in Kranjska Gora. The scenery here is beautiful. Green lake surrounded by mountains. We stopped here for about 90 mins, plenty of time to get some lunch (couple of nice restaurants by the lakeside) and to walk around the lake to get some photos. After lunch we took a short drive to see another small lake, which was full of trout. This was reached by a short 10 min walk through the woods, again this was a flat and easy walk. After about a 30 min stop it was back in the bus and on to the Pericnik Waterfall. Again visiting the waterfall involved a 15 min uphill walk along a path through the woods but the view at the top was worth it. There is a path which goes around the back of the waterfall, and although it initially looks a bit daunting, the path was quite wide and safe to pass. Again the views were absolutely stunning. After some time for photos, we carried on back down to the bus for the journey back to Bled. I can't recommend this trip enough. Yes there is some walking involved which may be difficult for those with mobility issues. But the national park is beautiful and definitely worth the walking. Jas was a brilliant guide and I enjoyed both the information he provided and the football related banter we exchanged. A real must do for those visiting Lake Bled.

Good taste of Slovenian natural wonders - We chose this tour as it covered lots of different places. The pace of the tour was fine - we didn’t feel rushed. All places took your breath away. Such a beautiful country. You need average levels of fitness to walk up to the two waterfalls. The first waterfall you could walk behind and was definitely worth the walk. The start was punctual. There are a few stretches of long drives - the driver was very accomplished as there were a few narrow and winding roads with only room for one car to pass. He was very pleasant- quite quiet but turns out this wasn’t his normal job, he was helping out. My only criticism was that the lunch stop at Bohinj was around 2.30pm so was quite late. We had an hour there but all restaurants were busy so it was a choice of using the hour to eat or skipping lunch and grabbing a snack to experience the lake. So I would recommend taking a packed lunch. Water is provided on the bus.

Fantastic day out, but dependent on weather conditions - I am sure the views would have been incredible, but sadly it rained all day and everything was enveloped in cloud. However, we made the best of a bad job and our driver could not have been more helpful and considerate. I would really love to go again if the weather when the weather is more clement
