Great Tour, Lovely Guides - There are plenty of tour operators offering mountain bike trips from Mount Etna and I would advise to shop around as the offerings are very different. For instance, with some there has to be an adult completing the tour when it involves a minor, for this one the presence of the adult was sufficient a tthe start and end of the tour, which suited us more. Also, the tracks that the operator chooses can be quite different and my son wanted a rather fast downhill one. At the meeting point, there came three guides with a pick-up truck and their excellent full suspension bikes, including one for my son as we did not bring one with us. They also provide a full safety equipment, including back and chest protection, which I found really good! The tour lasted from 9.30 to around 3.30 and involved all of us being brought up to different parts of the the mountain and then two guides descending together with my son, while one guide and I drove downhill to wait fro them. This cycle we repeated four times. The landscape is always thrilling so worth going also for this reason if you like MTB. My son had plenty of fun and the guides are really friendly, knowledgeable and laid-back. I would most definitely recommend this tour operator for a mountain bike experience on Etna!

Great fun and perfect way to experience Etna - I did this tour with my wife who has never mountain biked before, and I’ve only done it a couple of times. Our guide Luigi was very patient and encouraging and we both had a great time. Luigi was also very passionate about Etna and taught us a lot about this beautiful and dynamic volcano. If you’re comfortable on a bike and moderately active, this is a perfect introduction to mountain biking, and a great way to see Etna.
