We’ll explore the eastern coastline and take in the splendid late Baroque artistry of Sicily. Our tour includes a visit to the city of Ragusa Ibla, the primary filming location known for its Baroque magnificence and historic center. Because of these, the city is recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site. We’ll stop by Punta Secca (Marinella in the TV series) which houses the iconic dwelling of Commissioner Montalbano.
Our journey takes us to Scicli, the location for the Vigata police headquarters where Montalbano serves. Lastly, there’s Modica, another stunning Baroque city and UNESCO world heritage city. While in Modica, you’ll tour the Church of San Giorgio and the stunning Palazzo Polara facade, both featured in the Montalbano TV series.
