Amer - Amer Fort, also known as Amber Fort, is the prime fort of Jaipur. It was built by Raja Man Singh I in the 16th century and later expanded by his descendant, Raja Jai Singh I. The fort served as the main residence of the Rajput Maharajas and their families. Start the visit to this fort with an elephant ride. One of the most famous sections of the fort, Sheesh Mahal, is a dazzling chamber with walls and ceilings covered in intricate mirror work. The mirrors were designed to reflect candlelight, creating a mesmerizing effect. Some other sub-attractions to visit in the fort are Diwan-e-Aam and Diwan-e-Khas, Sukh Niwas, Kesar Kyari Bagh, Sheela Mata Mandir, etc.

Panna Meena ka Kund - Nearby Amer Fort, Panna Meena ka Kund is a stepwell known for its architectural beauty and geometric design. Jaigarh Fort is renowned for its robust military architecture. It was designed to serve as a military stronghold and is often referred to as the “Victory Fort” due to its invincible nature. One of the major attractions of Jaigarh Fort is the Jaivana Cannon, which is considered the world’s largest cannon on wheels.

Jal Mahal - On our way to Amer, tourists stop at Jal Mahal for a photoshoot. It is situated in the middle of Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur and is a stunning palace known for its unique location partially submerged in water. It is not open to the general public, so it is famous for being a photoshoot point with the palace and lake as a background. However, it is still worth visiting during Jaipur sightseeing.

Gatore Ki Chhatriyan - Take a break in-between the sightseeing for lunch. Gatore Ki Chhatriyan is a royal cenotaph complex dedicated to the memory of the rulers of Jaipur. These chhatris (cenotaphs) are an architectural marvel, showcasing a blend of Rajput and Mughal styles. They offer visitors a glimpse into the rich heritage of Jaipur and the valor of its rulers. The ghats surrounding the lake are dotted with temples and ghats where pilgrims perform rituals.

Jodhpur sightseeing - Jaisalmer (300kms/ 05hrs drive)

The museum provides a fascinating glimpse into the royal history of the Marwar region. Visitors can explore the opulent interiors of the palace, including the art deco-style architecture and the magnificent display of artifacts, vintage cars, and memorabilia. The museum showcases a diverse collection, ranging from weapons and antique clocks to personal belongings of the royal family.

Mehrangarh Fort - Mehrangarh Fort, standing proudly atop a rocky hill in Jodhpur, is a magnificent fort that tells the tale of Rajasthan’s rich heritage. Built by Rao Jodha in 1459, the fort’s massive walls and intricate architecture reflect the grandeur of the Marwar region. Inside the fort, you’ll find architectural gems like Moti Mahal, Phool Mahal, and Sheesh Mahal, each narrating stories of royal opulence. The view from the top of the fort is amazing because you can see the whole city below. It’s like a big adventure castle where you can learn about the olden times and have fun exploring!

Jaswant Thada - Nearby Mehrangarh Fort is Jaswant Thada, a beautiful marble cenotaph dedicated to the royal family of Marwar. It is like a peaceful garden with a white marble building in the middle. The structure was made to honor Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, and it is really pretty with intricate carvings and detailed artwork. People often visit to enjoy the calm surroundings, and there’s a pond with colorful fishes. The views of Mehrangarh Fort from Jaswant Thada are amazing, making it a peaceful and scenic spot to explore in Jodhpur.

Jaisalmer sightseeing and Desert Experience

Jaisalmer Fort - Commence the sightseeing of The Golden City with its prime attraction, Jaisalmer Fort. Perched on a yellow sandstone hill in the heart of the Thar Desert, it is a historic fortress and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is one of the largest fully preserved fortified cities in the world. The fort’s unique yellow color gives it the nickname “Sonar Quila” or the “Golden Fort.” Inside, there are narrow winding lanes, ancient havelis (mansions), and stunning Jain temples. The fort provides breathtaking views of the city and the vast desert landscape.

Kothari’s Patwaon-Ki-Haveli - Now, we’ll start the exploration of havelis. Patwon-Ki-Haveli is a cluster of five havelis (traditional Indian mansions) located in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. Built in the 19th century, these havelis are an exquisite example of intricate architecture and craftsmanship. The havelis were constructed by a wealthy trader named Guman Chand Patwa and his five sons, each haveli being dedicated to one son. The havelis are made of yellow sandstone and are known for their intricate carvings, ornate facades, and detailed balconies.

Salim Singh-ki Haveli - Salim Singh Ki Haveli is a historic mansion built in the late 19th century. The haveli is named after Salim Singh, the prime minister of the princely state of Jaisalmer at that time. Unforgettable Experiences. Thankyou Dinesh and Mr Singh@Namaste Holidays - What an absolutely wonderful experience we had with Namaste Holiday. From communication over WhatsApp from Australia with Dinesh to the pickup at Delhi Airport and our 13 day tour around Delhi, Agra and Rajhastan everything was perfect. All the hotels were great and up to and over our expectations. The tours and guides we had at each destination all had great English and were local to the area. Dinesh and his son were always professional and went out of their way to accomodate us, making every effort possible. Last but not least, our driver for 14 days, Bajrang Singh Rathore was so efficient, safe and reliable. He was truly a member of our family going above and beyond his duties as a driver. Thank you for all the memories we will never forget.

A journey through Time and Culture - Travelling through Rajasthan is not just about distance , but about Regions, Cultures and even going back in Time . Would like to thank 'Namaste Holiday' for making this a memorable journey for us . We were a large group including Kids and Elders . However not at one point did we regret making this choice . Starting from the Planning Phase , With prompt and timely responses ( which is what made us go ahead with 'Namaste Holiday' in the first place ) to understanding our requirements and making an itinerary that suits us best , to welcoming us personally and to arrange early check-in at the hotel on first day and to being there for us through out the journey , Namaste Holiday did exceed our expectations at all stages. The Accommodations were clean and good, Hotel staffs friendly. Transportation Excellent and we even had Guides arranged at each place we visited , which I have not seen much with other operators. The Desert Camp and Cultural Night was a new Experience . Thank you Mr.Dinesh/Namaste Holidays for Organising one of the best trips we have had . Thank you Mr. Rewant Ram ,our knowledgable Chauffeur and Companion through out the trip for accommodating all our asks with a smile . Would highly recommend Namaste Holidays to others.

Great experience of Rajasthan and amazing memories - We have taken the trip in Dec of 2023. I have got the details of Namaste Holidays from web. My and one more family wanted Rajasthan trip and we were looking for good tour operators. I spoke to multiple operators while i was finalizing but somehow the moment i started the conversation with Dinesh ji of Namaste HOlidays it felt different and very professional. Based on the budget, needs and our requirement he tailor made the entire trip. Right from airport pickup to final drop, it was been an excellent experience. Dinesh ji was personally in touch with me to see everything was going on as expected. Each places visited has created an amazing memory for us. Driver has been so polite and great throughout the entire journey. All in all, this has been a fantastic memory of Rajasthan. I strongly recommend this package and on top of everything Dinesh ji is really awesome He made us feel like family and he created a personal connection with us.
