On our first day of vacation we found out that the date we had booked through Tripadvisor was not actually available. - . It could have been nice... but on the evening of our first day of vacation we found out that the date we had booked through Tripadvisor had nothing to do with the "real dates on site". We were kindly offered an earlier date: for the third day of vacation. So we had to spontaneously adjust the vacation plans we had had up to that point and had little preparation time. Bad without a car! Otherwise, it became clear to us, but of course only when we got there or on the way from La Croix-Valmer to the meeting point in Ramatuelle, that we had come outside of the season (end of September), because with the bus via Saint-Tropez you inevitably arrive late, around 2:30 p.m. So we decided, very easily on foot, to walk the kilometers in the midday sun... It always goes along the road without an actual sidewalk, unfortunately we were delayed on the last 2 kilometers. We were able to keep in touch with the group leader via WhatsApp and they even waited there until around 2:25 p.m. Despite rushing the last 2 kilometers, my husband and I only made it in time to wave to the group from the beach. Completely disappointed, we wanted to rent paddles etc. from the paddle rental shop we had just found, so that we could possibly catch up with the group or have some fun.. but there was no one there and no way to make the most of it. The bay is otherwise not very beautiful, neither inviting to linger or swim, and the bus for the return journey does not leave for almost 4 hours in the evening.. We then walked the entire way back to our apartment, and in our view we somehow "lost" the day of our vacation. So be careful: if you expect a certain date with the booking, by which I mean the completed purchase of the activity (the reservation offered via Tripadvisor did not even work despite several attempts), you may be very disappointed! So if you are not coming/camping directly from Ramatuelle or Saint-Tropez, you should travel by rental car/e-bike. Taxis would be very expensive and impossible to find on the way. So the journey here should be well planned.

just unreachable, no update(s), employee was top! - Had reserved guided tour in advance with Guide but could not continue day due to heavier weather. In itself no problem but 0.0 regarding communication or update about our booking. Could not reach anyone on any of the phone numbers, SMS or Whatsapp... very annoying because we could not plan rest of day/week. Just got no response despite everything booked in advance and paid € 240. After going on the spot myself (2 times, just closed, no one to be seen) through someone then still be able to call.. via the ice cream man from the beach note... finally be able to meet the next day. At 10h00 we had to be there.. ah but again no Guide because they didn't know what color the flag of the water would get that day?... otherwise we had to wait until 15h00... then left on our own no problem. Anyway the young man on site (holiday worker) was very helpful and has had to apologize 10 times for the poor communication. The young man himself was super commercial and friendly. So all the plaudits there are to be earned go entirely to him. We finally paid for renting the kayaks, standard rate without Guide. Was not a concession or something was just the rental price of the kayak (s). Difference for the Guide was refunded. But what a hassle to reach someone and meet further because of force majeure due to bad weather. You'd think the organization would at least give a heads up, update how or what... but 0 so... pull your plan actually.
