Loterie Farms & the Jungle Room Restaurant - We had a great afternoon hiking from Loterie Farms to Pic Paradiise vantage point (a little tough to find). Parking for the hike is $10 per person. The hike is not easy. It is rocky, steep and overgrown. I welcomed the aid of hiking stick that was offered when I checked in at Loterie Farms. We are hiking people, so we enjoyed the exercise. However, the farm also offer zip lining and a party pool for those who would prefer to relax.
The Jungle Room Restaurant is a must. We had fabulous drinks by the bar (try the margaritas). We dined in the treetops where we could watch the monkeys, birds, and very large iguanas. The food is fantastic. It is a Caribbean/French fusion. The staff were polite and helpful. The food was AMAZING!! We loved our half-day spent at the lush farm.

Lotier farms - Very rocky to climb but so good! Make sure you book your pool first and buy your hike at the spot. You’ll get 50% off your hike!

Beautiful afternoon - We did some of the hike, but weren’t prepared for the rocky climb so we turned away part-way up. A very beautiful property with a rich history. We saw some zip liners and a very angry monkey as well. Inside is casual-chic. Very relaxed and chill atmosphere.

Amazing Experience - We always have a great time when we go to to Lotteria Farm. We make a point to stop there during each trip to Saint Martin. The service, food, and options are amazing.
We had the Asian ribs and the smash burger and they were both excellent.
If you go. Ask for Diane. She is the best! Her service, smile, and attentiveness were well appreciated. Thank you. You made our date!

No trip to St Martin is complete without a visit to LF! - My husband and I spent the day at Loterie Farm. It had been highly recommended by locals on our last trip but we ran out of time. I literally cannot describe how gorgeous and unique this property truly is. My husband hiked Pic Paradis and had a great time seeing the monkeys. I enjoyed reading & relaxing in the cabinita and then we had a wonderful lunch together. The pool is stunning, staff are kind & fun, the poke bowls and cocktails were absolutely amazing (and we’re fairly picky foodies:). My husband said best cocktails he had on the island. And the poke bowl was probably the best I’ve ever had anywhere. The zip liners sounded like they were having a blast as well. Great for couples and families alike~ we cannot wait to return! Highly recommend ~ well worth a day here!

Super nice relaxing place - Lovely place to start from for a hike or just a day relaxing at the jungle pool. Even the service is at your sunbed.

Beautiful steep hike (not walk) in autonomy - Beautiful steep hike in the vegetation...1h40 round trip to the peak paradise for us who are in good physical condition. We absolutely recommend the proposed walking stick (1 stick only but really useful) and water: 2 liters for us 4...the tour is autonomous and absolutely not guided as one might think...for the less enduring you can choose a shorter route that will require less effort, will lead you to 1 highlight but not to peak paradise...

Spend 4-6 hours checking out this gem away from the beaches - We arrived around 9:30am and decided to start with the self-guided hike. We were told it may take 2-2.5 hours but in reality it was a 3+ hour adventure. Plan accordingly. We are relatively fit humans but this hike is no joke.

We did the whole hike - it took almost 2 hours to get to the top. The view was very nice but it wasn't 360 degrees as advertised. We were exhausted so we poked around a bit at the top - there are 3 different access points to various views. Our descent was a little over an hour.
Tips: USE A HIKING STICK - they are there in a box outside the restrooms
BRING WATER - the bar by the front check-in will sell you a big bottle for a reasonable cost
EXPECT TO SWEAT - we were fully gross by the end, dress appropriately
FOOTWEAR - make sure you have good shoes, but they might also get messy if you step in any of the muddy areas after a good rainfall
PLAN FOR AFTER - Trust me, you're going to want to get into their refreshing pool at the end, but you need to pay for that access. It's worth it though! The pool was just what we needed and the drinks and food you can order are a bonus!

Definitely a great trail if you enjoy hiking - We only did the hike. This place is pretty expensive. 25$ a chair if you want to go to the pool. The hike cost 10$ a person and the difficulty level is hard in some places but mostly moderate in most places. We saw monkeys during the first leg of the trip which was really cool. The view from the top was pretty but the trail is not marked well and the map they give you isn't helpful. They need to mark the trail better with signs and actually mark where you are on the map instead of a sign with just the word hike..

Great hike followed by relaxation at the pool - We went as 2 Couples 60+ for the self guided hike, rented two Cabanita for 2 that included a couple drinks, which came to about the same as if we rented 2 chairs, bought 2 drinks and the hike.
The hike in the area of the switch backs had a few challenges for people with hip/knee issues as there is a few larger step (rock climbing sections). Definitely watch for the box of walking sticks at the start as they add great stability on the climb and the walk down. The shorter 1 - 1 1/2 hour trail is clockwise but should be offered going straight up in a straight line (without the switchbacks) for those with difficulties.
You need to bring all the water you need and any snacks because there is nothing available on the hike. Bring extra in case you get delayed or on hot days.
The cabanitas and pool were a welcome site upon completion of the hike. They do not allow you to bring food or drink in the pool area but we were able to finish some of the water we brought for the hike. They have a separate pool menu and service if you are going there so you don't need to reserve the Restaurant unless you are skipping the pool.
It is very well run, clean and organized but a little pricy for the day depending on what you eat and drink. We had a great time and it is a recommended experience on the French Side.
