Exhilarating - John was excellent pilot and very personable. Tried hard to sight a moose but just saw lots of tracks. What fun!

Highly recommended - What an amazing experience. From the friendly pilot to the fact we got to see a moose I couldn’t have asked for much better. The fall colors were incredible. Highly recommended!

An awesome way to see the Rangeley Lakes area - John was an excellent guide as well as being a calm and steady pilot. It was wonderful to see so much of this lovely part of Maine, most of which can’t be seen from the road. The ride itself was amazing - I’ve experienced harder take-offs and landings in commercial aircraft. I highly recommend this!

Worth It - We splurged on the 1 hour tour, and even then it seemed way too short. But it was a lot of fun and worthwhile. Our pilot did a mid-flight landing at a pretty deserted beach on an island for a few minutes, and took our pictures of the plane (used in our Christmas card!) Our pilot was super friendly.

Beautiful Foliage From Above - Super flight! Gorgeous colors and our pilot did an excellent job pointing out highlights and providing a history of the area. Highly recommend.

Worth it! - It was great to see the view of the lakes in this region, it is incredible how many are uninhabited. The pilot was quick to give directions, and then we were off! I will say this is the fastest 30 minutes of your life, but well worth the experience. Pilot took photos of the crew mid flight, and once we landed. This was a nice souvenir to have.

So much fun and informative! - Carl was awesome! I’ve been coming here for 58 years and always wanted to fly over the region, especially my house on the west shore. It was so easy to book the flight and so much fun. If you’re in the area, do it!!

Sunset Photo - When we visited The Rangeley Lakes it was cloudy and very cold, I believe it will be a perfect place to visit in a warm summer evenings to get a photo opportunity of sunset. I have been told It will be a good place for fly-fishing. We just drove through but I am sure there will be a lots of activity in the summer month.

Pleasant, but won't go again. - Rangely Inn is delightful. Big, beautiful lobby, lovely dining room use for breakfast, and a tavern where dinner is served. Food very good, but the same menu every night. Foliage was a bit past peak. Our biggest problem is that we drove an electric car out there ad there were NO EV charging stations. The nearest stations were in Augusta, a two hour drive, or a town with a Hannafords on our way home. Because we spent so much time looking for a charging station, we did not do the seaplane, nor did we do the chairlift at Saddleback. We did have a lovely drive to Hight of Land. Our second dinner was at a sports bar across the street from the inn. Don't go there. Very slow service and limited menu.
