Distinctive settings are formed by the craggy dark volcanic rock sculpted by erosion and are endowed with numerous natural pools suitable for swimming….
This journey provides an opportunity to explore reef island with a day at the motu enhanced by a barbecue. The visitors will encounter a dynamic, moon-like landscape on the motu’s oceanic side. Distinctive settings are formed by the craggy dark volcanic rock sculpted by erosion and are endowed with numerous natural pools suitable for swimming. Additional activities (like snorkeling, weaving, observing dolphins, and experiencing the Tiputa aquarium) augment the expedition to this location to get acquainted with Rangiroa’s and Paumotu’s culture.
Schedule :
- 8:20 am: hotel pick-up
- 9:00 am: departure from Ohotu
- 10:00 am: reaching the reef island, complimentary snack
- 10:30 am to 12:00 pm: tour of the ‘feo’ and coral garden snorkeling
- 12:15 to 1:15 pm: pre-lunch drinks, meal, and braiding show
- 1:15 pm to 2:00 pm: leisure time for relaxation, swimming
- 2:15 pm: leave the ‘motu’
- 3.15 pm: reach Tiputa pass
- 3.15 pm: Tiputa pass tour (home to dolphins)
- 3:45 pm: snorkeling at the aquarium
- 4:30 pm: back at Ohotu dock and transportation back to hotel
