Our tour continues to the Sólheimajökull Glacier Tongue, known to be one of the most easy to access glaciers in Iceland. It is conveniently located just off the primary road and boasts a paved route leading directly to the glacier. Here, one can marvel at its intriguing forms and shades.
We then make our way to the cliffs of Dyrhólaey and Reynisfjara, renowned for their black sand shoreline surrounded by attractive basalt columns and caverns.
Next, we visit Vík, a delightful coastal fishing village well-known for its volcanic beaches and ocean stacks.
For our day’s finale, we stop at Seljalandsfoss, a famous waterfall that allows a walk around its behind. Don’t forget to carry a raincoat to avoid getting wet!
