Hua Hin - Prachuabkirikhan - Ranong

Wat Khao Chong Kra Chok - Climb the Mirror Mountain “Khao Chong Krajok” for a panoramic view of Prachuab Bay. A long stairway leads to Wat Thammikaram, established by King Rama VI, offering stunning vistas of the town and its surroundings. NOTE: Be cautious of the numerous monkeys in the area.

City Pillar Shrine - Prachuap Kiri Khan - Located on Sala Chip Road, opposite the city hall, the Prachuap Khiri Khan City Pillar Shrine was built in the Lop Buri art style during the tenure of Governor Pol. Sub-Lt. Amnuai Thaiyanon. His Majesty the King had HRH Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn preside over the shrine’s opening ceremony on August 20, 1994. The shrine symbolizes the city’s auspices and prosperity.

Kho Khot Kra or Kra Isthmus - The Kra Isthmus, the narrowest part of the Malay Peninsula, is situated in Ban Thap Li, Lamu Subdistrict, Ranong, and Sawi District, Chumphon, near the 545th milestone of Highway 4, about sixty-six kilometers from Ranong Town. The Kra Buri River, a natural border between Thailand and Myanmar, lies to the west of the isthmus. With a width of just one hundred meters, the river facilitates local travel between the two countries. The Kra Isthmus sign, a popular photo spot, is located in Ranong. Nearby, a viewpoint offers a beautiful view of the Kra Buri River, marking the border between Thailand and Myanmar.
