Wonderful experience! - This was my first trip in Italy, my friends came across orange wave’s trip and they convinced me to join them… At first I was a little bit worried because I often get seasick, but not this time!I enjoyed watching the beautiful Ligurian coast from the boat and if I ever come back here, I’m going to have another day like this for sure! P.S. Great service!

Nice tour but a very stressful experience - Swimming in beautiful waters was wonderful but I will only recommend this tour if it comes with pick up and drop off unless you are familiar with the area. We couldn’t find a taxi to take us to our meeting point or back to our starting point. We weren’t familiar with the area and public transportation and people barely spoke English. We almost missed our tour and almost missed the last tender to get back on our ship. We had to take a bus to the next city then from there found a taxi to take us to the meeting point in the city next to that. Making it with only 3 min to spare. After the tour we couldn’t find a taxi to take us back and no one we asked spoke English. No information booth. Finally we went into a hotel and they were kind enough to help us. We still had to run through the town to make it in time before our tender left port. I had emailed and texted many times before the tour to ask how to get to our meeting point from where I was going to be. The answer made it sounds so easy. Oh it’s only a 20 min taxi ride! It was a very stressful experience!

Don't expect everything that it says it includes - I thought the boat was to be bigger...no way could a group of 12 be on that boat. My family included my 3 kids: 17, 15, 9 and my husband and I. We also had 1 man and a couple besides the skipper. No place to lay out and no sun bath solarium area, no shade for us on the on the boat except for the skipper, no music, or laid out relaxation rafts provided. I could see the same expression of disappointment on the couple when we picked them up at their spot. However, being the optimistic person I am I loved the scenery, the ports, restaurants and swimming in the crystal clear blue water with the fish. My kids loved it.

Don’t do it - Sadly, I was more upset at the time spent than the money wasted. One of the stops was cut due to a protest so rather than cancel the tour this company decided to ferry our group to Portofino at a glacial pace and encouraged guests to swim in unsafe conditions. It was a horrible experience. I’d highly recommend avoiding this tour company. Safety and guest experience is not important. Additionally, the guide was late to disembark, late to pick us up at the one stop and spent a majority of the tour either texting or talking on his phone.
