Oakfield park - Best place ever. Beautiful scenic estate. Walled gardens stunning train ride excellent. Loveky restaurant with reasonable prices.

Family, camera and pocket friendly piece of paradise.. - Highly impressed with our entire experience! From the car park to the toilets, the playground to the train station and every inch of the walkways throughout, this place is lovingly cared for and proudly represented by a truly amazing team.. Every single encounter we had with every staff member was a reminder that genuine, sound, engaging and caring workers are still to be found -and Oakfield Park have certainly picked the best... The beautifully maintained walkways, the amazing structures and sculptures, and the little visual treats hidden throughout the grounds kept adults and kids constantly in awe and entertained -all without a single point of pressure to spend more money.. We also ate in the Buffers restaurant which not only boasts a menu that would be at home in any gastropub but also delivers in spades... in fact we'd return without question for the quality, service and value here alone.. All in all a fantastic day out and a truly hidden undersold gem -maybe that's actually part of the secret..

Great family day out. - We had a really great day out.Only saw the place advertised at the last minute & thought we would see what it was like & we weren't disappointed at all.Great walks around the gardens & woodland areas of the estate.Went on the mini train ride & we all really enjoyed it.Would really recommend.

Wonderful Time on the Grounds - We went in the rain and road the tiny train after a nice lunch at the canteen. The walk about the lower gardens was nice but a bit muddy. The afternoon cleared a bit and we trekked to the upper gardens. What a great garden with overwhelming beauty all about.

Family day out - The park is spotless staff are fantastic toilets were well maintained. My 2 yr old daughter, myself and partner loved our day here. The train was a nice way to see the park, buffers restaurant was great value for food that was delicious. The teddy bears picnic was in and was so well organised, can't recommend oakfield park enough, we will definitely be back

Very enjoyable - Beautiful place, lots of activities for the kids. Absolutely welcoming and pleasant staff. The provided activities were easily accessible.

Do not miss this - We had a lovely day at the Park. The facilities are excellent and thr food in the restaurant was gorgeous and fairly priced. There are ample photo opportunities across the two gardens. Staff ate very friendly and helpful. Give yourself a.full day to view the gardens properly. The train is a lovely treat for your and old. Do yourself a favour if your in the area take a visit.

Fantastic - Fantastic place to take kids, meat with a waving princess, which summed up the whole staff so friendly and helpful. Great entertainment for whole gamy, beautiful setting and so much to do, spent 6 hours there

Just perfect - Absolutely stunning, my boyfriend brought me here as I’d never been and I can honestly say it was beautiful 💁🏼‍♀️ all ages can enjoy this place. We were lucky to get a lovely sunny day, and enjoyed a soft whip cone from the little truck. My only little constructive suggestion would be the little vintage truck. It would be better if it was mand at all times instead of having to go into the coffee shop to get the girl from the till there to come out. Plus having to walk across back into the coffee shop to pay wasn’t ideal as the ice cream in your hand was melting away whenever you just wanted to be sitting down and enjoying it. But it’s not a big deal. We throughly enjoyed our day, thank you 💁🏼‍♀️

A great day out. - An fantastic day out. Just a little disappointed that the walled gardens were closed so we couldn't visit. The food in the restaurant was excellent.
