Beautiful sunset experience - We went to the desert with Clifton tours. Our extremely lovely driver picked us up from the hotel early (he even went inside and called our room in case you worry you miss the bus) on the way we had to stop for about 10 camels which was very exciting for me. On arrival at the 'Bedouin Oasis' camp we received coffee and softdrinks. We had complementary camel rides but you could also book a quad for 150 Dirham. Then we proceeded to watch the sunset for more than an hour. It was absolutely magical! In the end we went back down for some food. I had falafel, Taboule, hummus and bread, but here is a BBQ too. Then there were a 3 shows with fire and traditional dances. I quickly had henna painted on my hand, there are about 5 free designs and the others are very cheap for 40 Dirham! I also could hold the national animal of the Emirates, a beautiful falcon. It cost 15 Dirham but it was so worth it as the falconer went above and beyond taking a photo of me and the bird. You can also purchase photos from the photographer, who is also very very interested in delivering a great experience! Everything I spent was voluntary but there is SO much included in the price, there wouldn't be a need to!!! I'd definitely come back. We were surprised so much was included in the low fare.

Rustic desert camp. - Dune bashing was the highlight but it will depend on your driver. Ahmed was great. Camel riding, sand surfing kind of a disappointment. As for the meal, barbecue items were very good but everything else was so so. Guess I was spoiled by a previous desert experience (2017) to the Al Sahra camp which had a buffet to die for. Outstanding entertainment and mini soul. Unfortunately they are out of business. Would rather have paid more for a better camp experience. Too late now.
