Over the centuries, it has been dedicated to Saint Catherine - a revered martyr who met her untimely end in Alexandria.

• Ras Sudr - After our visit to the monastery, we bid farewell to Saint Catherine and begin our return journey to Cairo. But first, let’s stop for a scrumptious lunch break at the picturesque Ras Sedr.
