Be smart to plan the itinerary near Chitwan National Park - The accommodation with meals changed from 2 nights to 1 night. It came up with conditions of extra paying USD 12 for 3 meals for staying 1 more night in Rainbow Safari Resort and USD 24 for canoing and trekking. I paid USD 180 per person for the tour but they said it just included one night accommodation, traditional dancing show and a jeep safari. Actually, you can book a hotel and ask them to arrange all the same services to save the price at least half or more!

Should be just 2 people per elephant - This is for an elephant-back safari. I think think this the correct provider. If I'm wrong, let me know where to correctly post.
This was one of my biggest disappointments of my entire Nepal stay. I was looking forward to it, but it flopped. The elephants hold 4 people, but they should only hold 2. The 4 people are squished on and can’t move for the entire 1.5 hour ride. I was on the butt side of the elephant. So for the whole ride, I saw his tail and what was behind us, including his elephant dung. I never saw any wildlife, etc. Also, there was no padding on our elephant’s saddle, so it was a hard, tough ride. We saw other elephants with padding and wished we had it. My arms was bruised from hanging on to the safety bar the whole time without any padding. Two people per elephant would give people more space to not be so tightly condensed in the elephant and would allow both passengers a nice view. The ones in the back got a crappy view, literally. We saw two rhinos on the ride and we did one a river crossing; both would have been amazing to see, had the seating arrangements been better.
