On the way to the volcano, make a stop at the Belvedere beef nose for a stunning view of the river from the Remparts. The Segway ride begins a bit further on, revealing the lunar landscape of Pas des Sables, with its red and ocher slag and endemic flowering plants of Reunion.
The Segway adventure starts at the Foc-Foc parking area, where the invigorating freshness and enigmatic atmosphere will accompany you to the viewpoint on the volcano. The jewel of the Indian Ocean, the Piton de Bert, finally reveals itself.
