After that we will head downstairs to the underwater viewing room where you will get to look out the 7 foot wide windows to view a variety of fish, including the California State salt water fish called a garibaldi.

Awesome experience - Captain Jake was awesome I am handicapped and was traveling solo from Maryland and first trip to the west coast so I was kind of anxious. I spoke directly with Captain Jake and he was there to help me all the way. I especially liked the sea lions and the many many silver fish that I saw. I hope maybe I can bring my family there

Awesome time. Worth the money - It was amazing. We saw lots of fish and sea lions. The captain was great. Being able to see the fish underwater was an awesome experience.

Fish and sea lions, up close and personal. - The captain was excellent with all ages! He got us up close and personal to the resident sea lions in the harbor, as well as diverse types of fish that we could see through the huge glass viewing windows in the lower part of the boat. A great history of the harbor and its jetty as well as of the marine life that makes the harbor their home was provided by Captain Scout. To top it off he even let the children drive the boat with supervision. It was a fantastic experience all around.

Fun boat ride for all - My two daughters and five grandkids had a great time. The kids had never been on a boat, so this was a nice introduction for them. The boat trip goes around to where you see seals, so that was exciting for the kids. The bottom glass to view fishes was good, being that the water is not very clear, but still a good experience. The tour was top level and bottom level boat ride, so my daughters really liked that you get to be on deck as well. The captain was friendly and patient with the kids. The kids had fun taking turns, wearing a captain hat for a picture at the wheel.

Great tour with excellent tidbits from the guide! - My daughter and I are locals and we enjoyed the tour very much. It was a great way to get out on the water and learn a little more about our beautiful area. A+ for the adventure guide!

Amazing History - Captain was the BEST. Very informative and great knowledge of history. The kids really enjoyed it as did the adults. He even let them drive the boat🫣❤️

It was a very, very... - It was a very, very pleasant experience. Being a local person from Los Angeles area, I learned much from the captain about the history Redondo Beach Pier. The vivid view of seeing the many fish under water was so exciting!!!

Fun Tour for Kids - I took my 8 year old son (it was his birthday celebration) and he really enjoyed it! The captain (Jake) was nice and gave us information about Redondo Beach, the Pier and the area. We didn't get to see a lot of fish, but we saw the sea lions and my son enjoyed driving the boat and have everyone sing "Happy Birthday" to him. The duration of the tour is also good.
