- Please note the tour departs from the city of Reims. If you are not staying in Reims, you will have to book and pay for your own transport to get there, this is not included in the tour. The tour departs from your hotel in Reims or at the REIMS CENTRE train station forecourt (address given on voucher)

Great guide, visited Veuve, good lunch, and 2nd small local champagne house. - The Michele Fagot winery was awesome to visit a small house. Food was good by American standards which has been difficult in France.

Holiday for the senses - Verve Cliquot tour - Our guide was great. Informative & entertaining. Verve Clicquot was a must. The tour & tasting were captivating. In cooler weather bring a jumper/jacket as underground cellars can be cold! The restaurant where we had lunch was delicious & picturesque. Definitely a Paris highlight. I’d recommend booking train to Reims in advance, if that’s how you’re getting there!

Beautiful tour of the Champagne region. - Being a huge fan of Veuve Clicquot Champagne made this tour a must do when we were in Paris. We loved the opportunity to experience both the major champagne house as well as a family champagne house. We enjoyed a lovely lunch and chance to see both the town of Reims and surrounding villages of the region. Highly recommend this experience.

Great way to experience the Champagne region. - Veuve Clicquot Champagne has my heart so this tour did not disappoint. We enjoyed the major champagne house and the remainder of the tour that included a lovely lunch, views of the surrounding villages and information about the family champagne producers and a chance to visit and experience one of them. It was a great day and a beautiful region.

Pierre was fantastic! What an experience! - Pierre was a great driver and guide for the day. He was friendly, engaging, informative, knowledgeable, and entertaining. He was open to answering any and all questions about champagne or the city of Reims.
We thoroughly enjoyed visiting the Veuve Cliquot champagne house, but my wife and I were especially pleased with the experience at the small, family owned house and cellar we visited. It was honestly some of the best champagne we have had, and we were surprised to find out how inexpensive it was. We highly recommend the tour for anyone staying in the area or coming to the Champagne region!

Totally enjoyable day with a small group. Veuve Cliquot was amazing. No wonder I love their champagnes!! The small winery was delightful. We met the charming winemaker and drank - and bought - some surprisingly delicious bubbles.
Guide Pierre was outstanding! His knowledge of Reims and the champagne houses really educated and entertained us. Well done, Pierre!

If you have Pierre, the day will be a dream! - What an amazing day. If you are lucky enough to have Pierre, rest assured your trip will be perfectly curated. It was clear everyone at our vineyards and wineries also loved Pierre! We were treated well and enjoyed many little surprises too! Pierre's knowledge of the region made the day even more enjoyable. I highly recommend the trip!

Small champagne house are better than the well-known ones - Ramasse was our tour guide. He picked us up at the train station and brought us to a very nice restaurant for lunch. We purchased champagne. Our experience was wonderful. I strongly recommend that to her and small house champagne are better than the well-known ones.

It Could Have Been So Much Better - We appreciated learning about the lovely champagne region. Unfortunately, our experience could have been so much better. Our guide Viktor was knowledgeable about champagne and clearly loved his hometown region. Yet he is not a people person, preferring to engage with his phone rather than his tour group. Truly he acted as a driver more than a guide. One last disappointment - no one in our group thought the lunch spot he selected was very good - apparently he could have picked anywhere. We couldn’t understand why he took us where he did. In retrospect, my husband and I were glad we learned what we did about champagne but our experience on this tour was just average.

Total failure - The tour was canceled. The guide company France Intence failed to secure a driver. Very disappointed outcome. My husband and I extended our stay in Reims for this tour Vevue Cliquot. Planning and using a reliable company to reserve our trip was a waste.
