E-bike -champagne tasting trip - This was great fun tour of the vineyards and along the canal , by a lovely girl who’s knowledge of the area was great, friendly and a great sense of humour, worked up an appetite for a splendid lunch ! But before that we sampled some lovely champagnes from the local region, I’d recommend, contact was great and nothing a problem, very competitive prices too !

Late Harvest Adventure - A wonderful day during harvest season. The views were amazing as was the guide and tour which ended with a superb lunch. We recommend this as an alternative way to see the countryside up close and personal. Not too strenuous and accessible to anyone that can manage a bike.

Breathtaking Views - Loved that the focus was on the vineyards and beautiful town of Hautvillers. The ebikes were easy to manage. The lunch was delicious and was made with local produce. Matthias Collard gave a very personal experience of his champagne house. Our guide Anna was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and kind to us all.

A race through the vineyards - We were very lucky with our guide, a super nice, multilingual local from Reims. The bikes were in great shape, the tour through the vineyards and neighboring villages including Hautvillers was great. Unfortunately, our guide rode at an incredible speed that we could barely keep up with, leaving us little opportunity to find out about the cultivation of champagne or historical facts. The landscape also whizzed past us. We noted right at the beginning that the speed was too fast for us, but that didn't change anything. We thought that was a shame. We had the feeling that we were in a hurry. There were one or two problems with the bikes (battery wouldn't turn back on, chain came off), which we solved ourselves because our guide was already far ahead and didn't notice. There was also a fall. Now and then people lost contact with the group because of the speed and got lost. Our guide didn't notice that either. After the bike tour, we had something to eat in a small, disused winery belonging to the organizer of the bike tour. No consideration was given to intolerances or preferences. The food was very simple. The champagne on offer was sometimes flat or too warm. The quality of the tasting was therefore rather mediocre to poor. The tour through the cellar of the disused winery was short and not very impressive. Despite all of this, we had a lovely afternoon and didn't let it spoil our mood.
