Unique and Fun Experience - We had a great time! My adult daughter found this activity and I’m so glad we did it. Our guide Roman was great! He was always looking out for us and very kind to the donkeys. The donkeys were great as well. Just be prepared for hiking on dense fine sand. All the staff were fabulous and the facility is very nice too. Enjoyed the treats for the donkeys and hikers at the end! Unique experience!

It's a really fun and... - It's a really fun and unique experience. The volunteers are friendly and knowledgeable. The donkeys were adorably stubborn yet cooperative. The walk was beautiful; we got to see a lovely view of the beach and the ocean. A great family activity or if you're in the mood for something different while supporting a great cause.

A memorable walk to the beach with a burro - The rest of my family went horseback riding (and loved it), but I chose the burro walk. It was just me (a female of somewhat advanced age), Jade (a lovely young woman) and Felipe, our recalcitrant burro. I had a great time, but Felipe made it a better story by being a rather reluctant walker. Jade handled him well, and we completed the walk to the beach (amazing close-by whale sightings) and to the overlook (more whales!). On our way back, we even posed for California tourists who wanted a picture of us(!) with Felipe. Just for the record, the walk to the beach is through fairly deep, uncompacted sand so it's unsuitable for people who might have balance issues or prefer secure footing.

Fun donkey trek by the ocean - My husband and I were on the tour by ourselves and it was amazing! Roman was our guide and he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and all of the things going on (including the turtle hatchery on the beach). The donkeys were great, the views were amazing and we even saw a couple of humpback whales jumping when we were at the point. Fab experience!

Recommend for any animal lovers! - Great experience!! We had a fantastic time with Ramon and the donkeys. He was very accommodating throughout the experience, ready to help in any way possible. This was a short easy walk with our donkeys out to the coast and back with as much time as needed for rest, pictures, etc. We each had our own donkey to lead and could interact with them as we liked. Ramon took some great pictures for us as well with our phones so we didn't need to pay any additional cost to have some digital memories!

If you like animals, you gotta try this. - Take a donkey for a beach walk, to an outlook, it’s a riot. Beautiful views, clumsy donkeys, relaxed guide, all on the empty beaches in Mexico. We were fortunate to see many whales migrating so close to the shore too. It’s a sandy walk, nothing rigorous, everyone can do it.

Adorable donkeys and great views. - Highlight of my trip!! Roman was my guide, and he was so knowledgeable about the animals and vegetation and geology. We had a great hike. I loved my donkey so much. I also saw a bunch of whales breaching. Super cool. Highly recommend.

Tami from Chicago - Luis was a fabulous guide! Our hike with the donkeys was amazing and wow the views from on top of the cliff! We even saw whales out in the distance. Taquito, Carlos and Egor were great! Egor is food motivated😉 I would definitely recommend this excursion especially if you love donkeys like I do!

One for the Bucket List! - It's always been on my Bucket List to release sea turtles so we booked our whole family vacation around Cabo to do this. The guides were informative and the experience was truly magical and emotional for me. Truly worth it and the turtles are so cute!

Careful. This place is a SCAM. - We booked a hike with a donkey on New Year's Day. We could not find a ride from our hotel in Cabo out to the ranch and so we tried to cancel a couple of days before. We heard nothing from Rancho Carisuva. We tried calling their number and emailing but we heard nothing to confirm that the trip was canceled. Thinking we would get charged for the excursion if we did not show, we finally found a very expensive ride to the ranch on New Year's Day. When we arrived, there was no tour. A person from the ranch said they cancelled our excursion but we could get our money back since there was no tour. Despite more calls and emails, we have heard nothing from Rancho Carisuva and they have not reimbursed our money. A simple call, text or email would have saved us a lot of time and money.
