Two Middle age ladies exploring Greece - This was a very worthwhile day trip. The bus was very comfortable, the driver George and guide, Maria, were very friendly and knowledgeable. The towns are charming, the stop at the lake was a welcome break in the long drive back to Herakleon. They provided a sack lunch, which was a surprise treat. If you have limited time in Crete, this is a great way to see the sites.

Best hotels in Crete - Today I had a wonderful experience with my family thanks to Orange travel. I saw two beautiful places not to be missed if you arrive in the magnificent island of Crete. I'm talking about Retymno and Chania. Not least Lake Kournas, the last stop of our tour. The places are fantastic and perfect was the organization of the excursion. An added value certainly the professionalism and kindness of the Guide who accompanied us. Really a sweet and competent person. If you happen to be on holiday in Crete, contact Orange travel - it will be a fantastic experience.

The tour guide, Maria was very informative on the history of each location visited. She was very welcoming and spoke several European languages with ease.

Excellent day trip! - Great all day trip with Orange Travel! We travelled in a air conditioned coach with WiFi. We had 3x tour guides covering English, Polish, Chech and French. Our Greek Tour leader Maria was great! Funny, truthful about sights and passed on really good vibes onto us. We've learnt a lot. We had enough time in each place to relax, get all the photos we wanted, use the toilet etc. You can hire waterbikes at the Kournas Lake but I recommend haggling for less time at lower price as realistically you would need the whole hour to get to other side of lake (stop is 50 min). We didn't see any turtles as there were so many people! Nice surprise was a packed lunch we got from Orange Travel :)

Beauty, discovery and good humor - A day full of wonderful discoveries accompanied by a caring, cultured guide who takes the time to provide the necessary information to everyone in their own language. The program is dense, 3 destinations in one day but in the end, the free time for each destination is comfortable. The excursion allows you to benefit from the best visiting advice but also to avoid taking the car to drive several hours in a country that you do not know ☺️ A shuttle transported us from the entrance of our hotel to bus for the day, everything was done to make our lives easier. We can only recommend ☺️

Superb. Worth every penny - Booked this trip through Get Your Guide and it really was great. The pick up was early and we had to make our way from our hotel however once we were on the coach, the travel was more than fine and even had usb ports to charge phones on board. The first stop was Rethymno which we arrived at pretty early and managed to get some food at Cul De Sac, which was phenomenal. We then walked around the town and along the harbour which was hardly crowded and so pleasant. The guide advised us what time to be back at the coach and we then moved on to Chania. The guide was informative and clear with instructions, allowing us free time to then explore by ourselves the towns. Chania was by far my favourite, with its cute market stalls, oldie buildings and vast choices of restaurants. The harbour was stunning and really gave me a Game of Thrones vibe. From there we met back up and went to Lake Kournas. This was again, very scenic, surrounded by a lot of rural land and animals including chicken and geese, though the smell here was very strong of sewage. Highly recommend this tour, worth every penny. Things to remember are plenty of water, you do not get fed at all so make sure you leave time to eat when in the towns, ensure you wear sun cream as some areas there is little shade and bring swim stuff for the lake!
