Excellent tour! Can’t speak highly enough about Kostos. - Spectacular tour today with Konstantinos (Kostos)!! So very happy to have met Kostos and to spend the day with him. We went to a variety of interesting places and learned many new things. I really enjoyed the Tour of Traditional Olive Oil Factory near Melodoni where Joanna Paraschakis the owner, gave us a fabulous tour explaining the historical changes in production of olive oil through the ages. A lovely tasting and we brought some home with us. We went to the Honey Museum near Melodoni and learned information about bees and honey production. We also went to a pottery village in Margarites. Eleni, who is second generation potter, made a piece of pottery and decorated it while we watched. We bought 2 pieces which Eleni carefully wrapped for us to take home. Pottery is her life and she is a talented artist full of heart. Kostos took us to the caves in Melodoni and gave us great background information about what we were seeing and the story behind it. We had a wine, cheese amd olive tasting and bought some of everything we tasted. Finally we went to Rethimno, Kostos’s home town and gave us a personal tour through the streets of the town. He took us to his favourite souvlaki place and it was delicious!! Kostos is a happy, flexible and accommodating professional tour guide with a great sense of humour and outlook on life. Kostos made our day very special! A highlight of our trip. Thank you, Konstantinos

My favorite day in Greece! - This was my favorite day in Greece! We met such amazing people, each stop was fascinating and it was an honor to see the beautiful things they made. We especially loved the ceramics, as we got to meet the woman that made them and she spoke about how her family has been doing it for generations. The monestary was also fascinating, and I’m so glad we got to go. Our tour guide was wonderful, very relaxed, kind and knowledgeable. I’d certainly go on anouther tour with him again! He went out of his way to stop and find us an extra suit case (since we bought so much stuff we needed one more!!) and catered to us wonderfully. It made the day feel so special. We couldn’t recommend this tour more!

Maybe consider a different way to spend your day - The pottery demo and visit was really good. The very highlight of the day. The honey and olive oil experiences were...lacking. The olive oil tour was led by the daughter of the owner and was done as quickly as possible and without much enthusiasm for giving a tour. We felt as though we had interrupted her day. The honey tour was brief but very well done. Great tasting after the tour and really kinda cool. Our guide for the day was not very talkative. Not much information was offered and what was was because we asked. He was kind but just not much of a tour guide. I can't recommend this tour.
