Fantastic first time experience - Canyoning isnt something I have done before and quite out of my comfort zone but the guides were amazing. I felt incredible safe throughout the experience and no pressure to do any jumps if you dont want to. The guides took photos along the way and sent them to us which is a nice thing to have. A few steps to get up and down to the gorge and at the end of the canyoning there is a 20/30 minute river trek to get back to the car (incase you need to know how much walking is required, not a lot).

Canyoning in Kourtaliatiko Gorge - AMAZING EXPERIENCE with ECO EVENTS! - We had an amazing experience with Nick, Giorg and Barbara! Our canyoning adventure in Kourtaliotiko Gorge was great from beginning to end! We meet the guides at the prescribed meeting point in Koxare and the proceeded together to the gorge! We were fitted for our wetsuits and then put through our orientation and safety briefing! We then proceeded to the first of two repels with some cliffs jumps mixed in! The crew was very fun and very attentive! Photos are taken along the way and shared with us afterwards! This was an amazing experience and one that we’ll not soon forget! The gorge is simply beautiful to see and to repel and swim amongst this beauty was second to none! A must do for those who are visiting the area! ❤️ 🇬🇷

Just awesome! - We were traveling with professionals Nikos and his daughter Barbara as well as two other couples. Meeting point was the village of Koxare, after a short getting to know each other we drove our cars to the Kourtaliotiko Gorge to park in the public parking lot and put on the wetsuits. From there we drove the pickup truck from Nikos closer to our starting point. We were able to leave our backpacks in the car and received the neoprene jackets, helmets and the climbing harnesses with the carabiners and safety ropes. You walk a small section of stairs and then first into a natural pool to get used to the wet sports shoes and the cold water. Already there the view is great. Then there was the briefing including testing yourself. As long as you follow all the instructions of the professionals, it is a very safe adventure. We carefully went to the first point for abseiling (height 15 meters). It was a fantastic feeling; 1 meter above the water you then take off the extra safety rope and drop into the cool water. When we were all down in the water, we took pictures and swam closer to the beautiful waterfall. (Attention all contact lens wearers 😂) After swimming out of paradise, you had to climb a bit (fortunately not much, because I am not the most athletic and had problems with my left thigh two days earlier, as I was climbing around Matala). We were on a stone platform and were allowed (no need!) to jump into the water from 4 meters. Next up again and to the second point for abseiling -> now from 20 meters:) It was just liberating hanging on the wall! At the height of about 7-8 meters there was a small platform on which Barbara asked each participant if one would like to continue abseiling or jumping. I didn't jump, but I heard from the others how great the jump was! After these rushes of adrenaline we hiked as a group through the watercourse over stick and stone, which requires some caution. Be sure to look around to avoid missing the beautiful green rock faces; a dream! When he arrived at his destination, Nikos was already ready for pickup with his pickup truck, as well as a bottle of water. We were able to change in peace and breathe until he drove us back to the parking lot. All in all a very good and cool experience, which we remember and was immortalized by the photos and videos the professionals took. Small tip if you have an ActionCam: attaching to the helmet makes the most sense because of the free hands. We had a mount on our wrist so our hands were also free, but this did not survive the jumps into the water XD Warm greetings to Barbara and Nikos and thanks for this incredible morning :)

Cannyonning throat kourtaliotikos - Superb experience. The gorges and caves are magnificent. Evan made an effort to speak French, a few words of course...but it was very pleasant. Thank you to all three of you for this experience and supervision which was flawless. The photos and videos taken by Nicos are excellent. 160€ seems a little high but a supervision of 3 people is the price to pay to have fun in safety. Well done to you and have a good end of the season Sébastien 👍👍
