Top experience in Iceland so far - My boyfriend and I recently took a tour of the cave with this company and we had just the most outstanding time. The tour picked us up at a convenient location and took us up to their pickup at the glacier. They gave us loaner shoes to make sure our feet didn’t get wet with no charge. Our tour guide for our group was very nice and knowledgeable and even sang a song for us at the end of the ice cave. The tour was really an exceptional experience.

Highlight of our Icelandic vacation - Definitely a highlight of our Icelandic adventure. From the Husafell Activity Center, a bus transported us to the base of the Langjokull Glacier where we were fitted with waterproof boots inside a small building. I wasn't sure if I would need the boots since I had on hiking shoes that I had waterproofed, but I'm glad I used their boots. This time of year, there's a lot of water dripping and puddles inside the manmade tunnel, and the boots plus my waterproof jacket & pants kept me dry. Our excellent guide Omar made the ride up the glacier in the monster truck pass quickly. He was friendly, knowledgable, and FUNNY! We learned about Langjokull, about glaciers in general, how the tunnel was built, and many tidbits about Icelandic history and life. Well worth the cost!

An exciting trip on to one of Icelands high glaciers and man made cave - Had a good trip starting from their base which was about an hours drive from Reykjavik. A bus took us on a short drive to the base of the glacier where we transferred over to a high clearance truck which took us up to the cave entrance which was in complete whiteout. A very interesting experience in the cave where supplied crampons were worn as was too slippery for regular hiking shoes. An amazing tour with a very knowledgeable guide. Highly recommended but don’t forget the winter clothing even in their summertime.

This tour is great but not for people with mobility constraints - The ride from Husafell was interesting and the glacier was really great and educational. Our guide was knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. My partner and I really enjoyed the whole experience.

Amazing, incredible and very informative - OMG!!! Ever since my Iceland trip was planned this was the tour I have been looking forward and let me tell you it has exceed all my expectations. From knowledgeable tour guide to safety of each member and teaching and guiding u through the cave... Was just on point. You will never find any other company that will give u the best experience "into the glacier" than this one. We loved our guides Mariano and Oumar they were both very knowledgeable and knew what they were doing. I went with bunch of seniors in our group and they made sure each one was taken care of and had best experience. They even walked with people that were not comfortable walking on the glacier or people who are old but still wanted to experience this glacier. Very down to earth guides... I'll definitely recommend giving this a try when in Iceland. Best experience of my life.

Amazing and entertaining experience - Oh my! Where do I start? We believe our guide Ryan made the experience so phenomenal. Walking INSIDE a glacier and learning about how it forms, what certain lines mean, why crevices form, are just a few things. Ryan is full of fun, entertaining facts and stores ( sagas). He even sang to us! What a voice! A must do

Dirty windows - The experience would have been 5 stars if the windows on the bus were clean and you could see the sights the guide was talking about.

Beautiful Scenery - Unsafe & Overcrowded - Walking into an ice cave, while in Iceland, is a once in a lifetime experience. My family and I were very excited to do this, unfortunately we were let down once all was said and done. Once you make it up to the Basecamp you are met with an unorganized scene, large crowds, a dilapidated building and dirty restrooms. Trying to look past all of this we hoped that this is a minor bump in the road before we made it to the main event. However that wasn’t the case. This experience was hampered by several things, with the most prominent being overcrowding. Due to issues with some of the ice tunnels, there is only one tunnel open. That means that there is one way in and one way out. The fact that three tours were in the tunnels at one time became a major issue since sections of the tunnel are narrow. This meant that there was a lot of down time standing in larger openings waiting for people to pass. Safety was another issue. You aren’t given your ice grippers until you were in the tunnel. The walk into the tunnel requires you to walk down a fairly step, slippery slope of ice. The have some traction mats, but they are so covered in ice they don’t offer much assistance whatsoever. Finally, the tour guides seemed annoyed to be there and were borderline rude and unprofessional. They offered little to no information about the history of the tunnels and just wanted to get over with it as quickly as possible. All and all this is all about making money and not providing a safe, educational and enjoyable experience.
