Just buy the ticket already - Super efficient way to experience all of the best of the city. Drivers were always on time and friendly. Highly recommend the 48 hour pass if you have two days in Reykjavik.

Best bus driver is Paul from Poland - Rode the hop on hop off tour bus in Reykjavik. My bus driver was Paul from Poland. I rode the loop once before deciding where I wanted to go. Paul was so helpful and friendly on the bus ride. He helped me the different locations. I enjoyed chatting with him. Hop on Hop off should give him a big raise!! Made my trip to Reykjavik so enjoyable!!

not bad!

As always nice to see new places, upgrade your narratives about Reykjavik. - Nice route, good timing. Only issue I have narrating is terrible. There are more interested facts about Reykjavik could be told to the tourist.

Solid - Pretty standard hop-on/hop-off experience overall. Gives you a good overview of the city and its sights, and the headphones for the narration was nice to have as an option, especially to not have to listen for a second time.

Good Overview but Misses the Finer Grain of the Old Town - Good for getting an overall feel for the lay of the land in Reykjavik but it misses the most enjoyable parts of town with the most interesting streets and shops - probably because they are too small and crowded to accommodate tour buses - - namely the wonderful "old town" streets where the shopping, dining and people-watching is at its best. Take the total tour first then hop-off for the finer grain of Reykjavik. Also, the last bus leaving it's origin location at 4:30 pm on a Saturday in June seemed a bit too early for cutting off service, which should go for at least another hour. The advanced booking via Viator seemed to unnecessarily raise the price by about $10 per ticket. They said it provided priority seating but we saw no evidence of that. Finally, the unforgivable, where you have a "plug-in" canned narrative. In both of the two locations on the bus my wife and I sat in, one of the two plug-in jacks was not working - it did not "snap in" and so much of the dialog was lost to static even while inconveniently having hold the earphone jack in by hand..

It’s a Hop Off - We were in a cruise stop in Reykjavik and picked up the Hop on off at Skarfabakki cruise port. The cost was 10000kr about £56 . We found it strange that although in June it’s the time of midnight sun ( and we had an overnight stay in the city ) the last bus is at 16:30 ! Therefore we had to cram as much as possible in a short time . We stopped at Harpa - you can actually walk to the cathedral it’s not that far . The map issued was incorrect - Northern Light experience has moved no longer at stop 3 . I would also suggest the map needs to be amended it includes a hotel and the bus terminal !! Overall we didn’t think it was good value and have been on better

Zeitverschwendung - Die Tour ist absolut uninteressant und gesucht. Mehr Musik als Information. Sehr lange Wartezeiten. Wir haben es nicht ausgehalten und abgebrochen. Können wir nicht empfehlen.

Steer away - The worst sightseeing tour ever. Zero info, and very little to see. Long breaks at each stop. Waste of time and money!
