Unforgettable Experience - Although the trip was short, we’d met a very considerate and heartwarming tour guide, Iskren!! During the tour, he always introduced detailed information about every stop and extra interesting background. Most importantly, he showed sincere concern to everyone and helped us when the road condition was difficult. And we’d understood some historical stories about Iceland. It was a real unforgettable experience!

The guide Iskren is highly recommended! - Great, great, great ride! Especially the guide Iskren! He is the most responsible and attentive guide I have ever met! After three days of walking icebergs and blue ice caves, we didn't expect much from the two-day trip, but Iskren made it all make sense! I would give Iskren100 out of 10!

Snæfellsnes 2-day tour - Troll expeditions is one of the few companies that is still operating during the pandemic and they went above and beyond to deliver this 2-day tour for us despite having to operate at a loss and with difficult weather. During our stay, weather at the peninsula was tough and because of this our tour had to be postponed. However, Troll Expeditions made this process very easy as they helped us to reschedule all of our other tours (even the ones with other companies) and re arranged our accomodation. As for the tour itself, our guide was Thorstein and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. He squeezed in a ton of extra stops to our tour and even took some different routes to show us more scenery! Overall, great tour and definitely recommended if you are planning to visit.

Excellent Service - Was guided by a friendly and knowledgeable guy Fannar. Always share with us his own experience and story and even let us choose our own favourite song during the roadtrip. The whole experience was good and fun. Thanks Fannar to really bring us happiness and fun. Really enjoy and love the trip. Good job!!:)

María Steinunn was an amazing tour guide! - I went on a two day tour with Maria from Troll Expeditions to Snaefellsnes Peninsula and Borgarfjordur. We made many stops along the way and Maria was very relaxed with us as we were with her. There were only 5 of us so we could take our time in seeing places and nothing was a rush. Maria had shown us so many things, much more than what was on the itinerary and her knowledge of the place just added to the experience. She pretty much engaged with us the whole time whilst driving and meal times, we even had a chance to eat fermented shark and a drop of the strong stuff with her. She also took us to a horse stop where we could see the Icelandic horses up close, have some freshly made lava cake and a cup of hot chocolate. We had a chance to play with the puppies too! We covered many areas in our 2 days; Ölkelda - Ytri Tunga - Bjarnarfoss - Hellnar (lunch) - Arnarstapi - Diddabúð (coffee) - Lóndrangar (didn't see because of fog) Þúfubarð and Svalþúfa - Djúpalónssandur - Saxhóll (crater) - Kirkjufell Church mountain) - Narfeyrarstofa (dinner) Borgarnes (gas) - Deildartunguhver - Skálholt - Hraunfossar / barnafossar - Húsafell - Sturlu Reykir (Horse stop) Kleppjárnsreykir - I would definitely and happily go on another tour with Maria, she was the best out of the 3 we had and I will be recommending her and Troll Expeditions to everyone.

Unprofessional tour guides affect the trip - The tour guide Thor would blame tourists and use unprofessional words when introducing attractions. He only toasted with non-Asians during meals and only blamed Asians when he came back later than the stipulated time. He turned a blind eye to the lateness of non-Asians, He may have a tendency to be racist.
