Awesome Experience - We had such a great experience with Your Friend In Reykjavik. We took advantage of their video chat option to help plan our tours, this being our first time in Iceland. From the video chat session with Zofia, the coordination of our tours together, and the personal approach from our tour guide, Ola, we could not have been more happier. We selected the 3hr Driving Tour and the South Coast Tour. Our group included four distinct adult personalities and a child under 2 (10 personalities in one!!) and Your Friend In Reykjavik was able to provide top notch recommendations, service, and flexibility. The driving tour was great for managing jet lag and waiting for hotel rooms. Our tour guide, Ola was awesome with my family! Afterwards, we were able to navigate the city fairly well as well as catch the bus to other locations. Such a great company!

Great tour! Birkir was the best guide. - WOW! This was the best way to get a view of Reykjavik. Our driver and guide, Birkir, was absolutely fantastic. This was our first tour around Reykjavik and we were given a lay of the land. Birkir also gave us recommendations for sights to see and restaurants to try after our tour was complete. We had tour plans the next day and he planned our tour to show us other areas of Reykjavik so we didn't see anything twice. The car was also comfortable and spacious. If you are able to request a guide/driver, I would definitely go with Birkir!

Well worth doing - Guide had an excellent knowledge and took us to all the sights we wanted to see in Reykjavik. Arrived for the tour promptly and car was comfortable. Bo took photos and emailed them to us when the tour ended. Highly recommended.

Oli is My Friend in Reykjavik! - My wife and I flew into Reykjavik to join the Viking Saturn. Because of scheduling issues we could not do a couple of pre-cruise days in Reykjavik, a place we really wanted to see. With the help of our Travel Agent, Natalie, we were signed up for a private 3-hour tour with Your Friend in Reykjavik. Oli was our fantastic guide. He drove us in a very nice SUV and was both interested in what we wanted to see and insightful on what we would find interesting. We were exhausted from almost 24 hours of travel but he made our journey so worthwhile, taking us to the incredible Hallgrimskirkja Church, Harpa Concert Hall, the Einer Jonnson sculpture garden, the Sun Voyager sculpture and a walk up Langevegur Street. We thoroughly enjoyed it! Oli was an excellent and thoughtful guide. He whetted our appetites for, perhaps, another trip to Reykjavik with an extended time in the city. If you want to get a feel for Reykjavik and you have only an afternoon, Oli and My Friend in Reykjavik are the best way to do that!

Good, but Expensive unless you have 6 people - Oli was our guide and he was a very knowledgeable guide. I wish he would have explained at the beginning where we were going and what we were going to see. We had no idea where we were headed or what we would see. In spite of that, we enjoyed Oli and the tour.
