Great Experience Worthwhile - Blue lagoon was stunning and very enjoyable! The collection and departure was a little confusing and better communication was needed!
We had planned to return to get stuff for the Northern Lights part of the tour, but timing didn't work.
Just in case, bring everything together and bring snacks so you aren't too hungry. The cafe at the blue lagoon is very expensive.
The tour guide for the Northern Lights was so lovely and she told us so much. We saw an amazing display.

Two in one trip - Experienced the Blue Lagoon the day before they closed it. Well organised trip and should be on everyone’s list to do. Northern lights was great even though it was classed as unsuccessful, we still got to see these through a camera lens. Experiencing this makes you realise how small we are on this planet.

Rejuvenating - One of the highlights. Very well organized. Rejuvenating. The pickup times for the bus were poorly communicated but we figured it all out. That’s only reason it lost a ⭐️

good experience but need communication about delay of transport - Transport was delayed and no explanation about the lagoon and pick up time. Otherwise, the lagoon experience itself is very good.

Blue lagoon and cancelled northern lights tour - The blue lagoon is amazing and a special must see experience. The pick up was efficient however when we were dropped off at the blue lagoon we weren’t given any information RE what time we needed to come back to the coach. We also received the email that the 2nd part of our tour has been cancelled due to weather that evening and we could either reschedule or be refunded. We relied on other passengers on the tour for information on our return. Overall a worthwhile trip but communication could have been better!

Terribly Organised - I have booked plenty of times through Viator and never had any issues. I’ve never written a bad review about anything. However, this trip was so poorly organised I couldn’t not warn others.
The blue lagoon is amazing and I would encourage others to go - just not with this company.
In the past when booking through Viator, I have been contacted by the tour operator before the trip to confirm the exact time and location of the pick up. I hadn’t for this. At the time of booking months ago I was told we’d be picked up from the hotel at 2pm. As such, on the morning, I messaged the tour operator through the app to double check this, only to be replied to at 11:31 that we actually ended to be at a specific bus stop at 1:30 (just two hours later). Would they have told me if I hadn’t asked? It didn’t seem so.
After rushing our lunch we arrived at the bus stop at 1:20pm. I was told the bus picking us up would be called Smart Bus. This turned up about half an hour later and told me I wasn’t on their list and it must have been a different company. He left, leaving us confused and worried about how we would get there. He came back 10 minutes later and told me that I was on the list but that the confusion was my fault because I had not told the office where I would be. I told him that the office informed me where to go and I followed their instructions but he just shouted to get in as I was making everyone late.
We then travelled 10 minutes to a bus depot where we were told to get on another coach to the blue lagoon. A different driver dropped us off and we asked her what time we needed to be back in the parking area. She said she didn’t know. Really unhelpful. I checked the itinerary what confirmed we had four hours at the blue lagoon and that it was heavily recommended we eat food there as we wouldn’t have enough time to eat back in Reykjavík between this and the northern nights tour. As such, we decided to give ourselves three hours in the blue lagoon so we could get out and eat and be ready to leave within the window. I messaged the tour operator to check what time we would be leaving to be on the safe side but had no reply. I kept having to leave the blue lagoon to check if I’d received a reply but to no avail. Hardly the relaxing experience it should have been. After three hours we were out of the blue lagoon and dried and ready for food. The operator then replied to my message saying the bus would be leaving at 18:15 - just 15 minutes time. We therefore didn’t have time to eat.
We were taken back to the city and had to wait an hour for the next bus, which was almost 30 minutes late. At this point it was dark and very very cold and we just had to wait by the bus stop.
Overall very poorly organised and caused what should have been a relaxing day to be very stressful.

Appalling service - Do not book with this company, absolutely appalling service, firstly the transfer didn’t turn up for the blue lagoon as they say it did, we stood at our bus stop at 1:15pm the information was to wait at the bus stops at 1:30 until 2pm was a no show from 1:15! Didn’t reply to any of my emails and couldn’t get through to the company! We was 2 hours late to the blue lagoon so lost a lot of time, the Northern lights got cancelled twice due to wether when other company’s were going out and seeing them then lastly when I have requested a refund they have offered me 25% which is £37 pound each with the booking I made for 2 people, this excursion cost £291! Wouldn’t even give them 1 star!

Reykjavik Sightseeing - Due to Volcanic activity we chose not to go on the Blue Lagoon part of the trip but still wanted to do the Northern lights later the same evening. Reykjavik Sightseeing told me I couldn’t do one without the other even though I’d paid £320.
We were in transit the day before our trip when we heard about the volcano and unable to cancel within the free 24 hour cancellation window. Despite this being extenuating circumstances they didn’t help us at all. We weren’t able to go on the Northern Lights part of trip even though I’d paid for it and they refused to give a refund. AVOID THEM. USE ANOTHER COMPANY.
