Highlights
  • Troll Expeditions - Your adventure kicks off with a morning pick-up by your knowledgeable guide in a cozy minibus to explore the renowned Golden Circle.
  • Thingvellir National Park - Few places on Earth offer a clearer view of significant geological activity than Thingvellir National Park. Here, visitors can witness the interaction between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. Often called “The Galapagos of the North,” the park boasts Iceland’s largest natural lake and a diverse array of fish and bird species. Thingvellir is also steeped in Icelandic history, being the site where the parliament was established in 930 AD. The name “Thingvellir” translates to “Parliament Plains,” making it a must-visit for those interested in Icelandic culture and history.
  • Bruarfoss Waterfall - Known as “Iceland’s Bluest Waterfall,” this hidden gem is set in one of Iceland’s most secluded and stunning landscapes. Though smaller in size compared to other waterfalls, the serene sound of water flowing over lava rocks offers a unique sense of peace. The waterfall’s sapphire blue waters contrast beautifully with the lush green moss and dark lava rocks, making it a perfect spot for photographers and nature lovers.
  • Geothermal Area Krysuvik - The Geysir geothermal area is home to several powerful hot springs, including Strokkur, a geyser that erupts every five to ten minutes, reaching heights of up to 35 meters. The term “geysir” originates from the now-dormant Geysir, the oldest known active hot spring in the world.
  • Gullfoss Waterfall - Next, we visit The Golden Waterfall, one of Iceland’s most spectacular waterfalls. Formed by the meltwater from Langjökull, Iceland’s second-largest glacier, Gullfoss cascades into a deep canyon. On clear days, the mist from the falls creates a stunning rainbow effect, with Langjökull visible in the distance. This is an ideal location for breathtaking photos.
  • Kerid Crater - Kerid is a volcanic crater famous for its vivid color contrasts. This 6,500-year-old crater in South Iceland is a perfect detour from the Golden Circle. Imagine standing above a crater formed by volcanic eruptions, with red volcanic rocks descending a slope that is 270 meters in circumference, 170 meters wide, and 55 meters deep. A short walk along the crater’s edge offers a closer look at the shallow lake within, which retains much of its original caldera. The minerals in the soil give the water its aquamarine hue, while bright green moss covers the area, except for the red volcanic cliffs. Kerid is one of Iceland’s three most iconic volcanic craters, located in the Western Volcanic Zone along with the Reykjanes peninsula and Langjökull Glacier.
  • Reykjavik - We aim to return to downtown Reykjavik by around 5 p.m., although the itinerary and return time may vary depending on road and weather conditions.

An unforgettable trip - 5 Stars! The trip is worthwhile and the guide is very clear and detailed. There is a small suggestion that we need more time to enjoy the landscape. 五颗星!这趟旅行很值得,导游也会讲解每个景点,有一个小建议是我们需要稍微多一点的时间在每个景点停留,总体来说还是很推荐的。
