Fantastic worthwhile tour with a well-informed, fun, professional guide. - I highly recommend this wonderful tour. Our guide Leifur shared insights from a life lived in Iceland, with humor and grace. He provided commentary filled with historical, geological, political, and social details. I think we all came away with a deep appreciation of Iceland, her people, and her past. It was fun to see Thingvellir, Geysir, and the other sights with a trained guide. Gullfoss was truly breathtaking. I was surprised by its size and power. The highlight was ending up at Fontana Wellness, soaking in the wonderful thermal baths, enjoying the hot sauna, and the steam paths heated directly by the geothermal steam. We watched as they dug up the Fontana bread from the bubbling sands along the lake, then enjoyed a couple of slices with local smoked lake trout and Icelandic butter. It certainly was a great tour and a fantastic day!

Great school trip! - Loved Albert! Great tour guide, great detail in knowledge of land and history. Learned a lot on and off the bus. He had great tips on how to make each stop better.

Benedict was brilliant! - Benedict wins the award for kindest and loveliest tourguide we've had on this trip. His voice was both soothing and engaging, he was knowledgeable and the whole trip was super smooth. I've done the golden circle before but never with fontana and I have to say, topping off the golden circle with a dip in the hot springs at the end was the cherry on top!

Well organized day trip to Golden Circle Highlights - Safe uncrowded small bus travel experience to 4 stellar Iceland sites - with adequate time to enjoy them all along with lunch. Appropriate tour bus guide narration along the way during several hours on the road. A full 10 hour day - door to door

All-around great tour - An excellent tour, and we chose this one because it included a couple of extra stops that some other Golden Circle tours don't offer. The first was the tomato-growing ranch, which was unique and interesting, and the other was a nice, relaxing soak at the Fontana Wellness spa, where you can try out all the different pools, each of which is set to a specific range of heat so you can decide which suits you best or just alternate between them as we did. And of course we did enjoy and learn a lot about the other spots -- the geyser, Gullfoss waterfall, and the rift at the National Park -- and got plenty of spectacular photos.
