• Langjokull Glacier - Langjökull, the second largest glacier in Iceland, is situated in the Western Highlands and can be seen from many popular attractions, such as Húsafell and Haukadalur. • Kerid Crater - Kerið, a crater formed around 6,500 years ago, is located at the northern end of a series of craters known as Tjarnarhólar. This vibrant natural wonder is oval-shaped, measuring about 270 meters long, 170 meters wide, and 55 meters deep, with water depth at the bottom ranging from 7 to 14 meters. Kerið is part of Iceland’s Western Volcanic Zone, which extends through the Reykjanes peninsula and the Langjökull glacier.
