Golden circle - Very informative. Fantastic tour, despite the weather. Gunnar and Maggi our tour guides/ driver were great. Northern lights part of the tour was cancelled due to adverse weather conditions but was definitely for the best. Would do again in a heart beat.

Outstanding golden circle tour - The views were outstanding. And the tour guide Margrèt was extremely knowledgable about all things involved in the tour. She answered any questions we had about the tour as well as other questions about Iceland. Very good tour and tour guide. Would recommend.

A Day of Fire and Ice - We just wrapped the Golden Circle part of the tour. Our guide, Albert, was fantastic! He's comedic timing is great. As a Icelandic native, he shares what feels like insider knowledge of not just the sites we visited but also history and culture. It had snowed the night before our tour , despite that I felt very safe on the bus despite the road conditions. We are looking forward to the second part tonight where we go look for the Northern Lights. I especially liked his knowledge of Icelandic architecture.

Hoskuldur is the guide you want on your trip - Recently, I embarked on a journey to Iceland, drawn by the promise of an unforgettable New Year's Eve celebration featuring fireworks in Reykjavik. This adventure was undertaken to provide the closing chapter of my latest book, "Fireworks: Tales of a Pyromaniac." While immersing myself in the festivities, I managed to weave the vibrant spectacle into the fabric of my narrative. However, the trip offered more than just a dazzling display of pyrotechnics. On the 1st of January 2024, I joined the Golden Circle and Northern Lights tour with Hoskuldur as our guide. From the moment we stepped onto the coach, his genuine interest in each passenger shone through. Regardless of our origins, he engaged with everyone, sharing his encyclopaedic knowledge of the world. His ability to answer any question, coupled with his wealth of experiences, set the stage for an extraordinary journey. Having visited Iceland four times, Norway twice, and even ventured into northern Lapland, I thought I had seen it all. Yet, Hoskuldur proved me wrong. Throughout the trip, he pointed out hidden gems and shared insights that had eluded me on previous visits. His infectious enthusiasm and fun-loving spirit added an extra layer of joy to the entire experience. The pinnacle of the excursion occurred that evening when Hoskuldur skillfully led us to witness the Northern Lights. It marked the first time I beheld this natural wonder with my naked eye, dispelling the need for long exposure camera shots to capture their elusive colours. Against the canvas of the night sky, the lights danced in vibrant shades of bright green, creating a mesmerizing spectacle. For this unforgettable experience, I extend my heartfelt thanks to Hoskuldur and the incredible journey he curated for us.

We felt uncomfortable and unwanted. - The tour bus has outlets to charge phones but they did not work. Our tour guide for the Golden circle tour wasn't as upbeat as our other tour guides. We didn't know if people had to sit in the same seats during the entire tour. My friend and I tried to move our seats because the couple behind us kept coughing and snoring really loud. The coughing bothered us.
We moved at the end of the tour to the back, the right side, second to last row. This old man came (was the last person to get on the bus) he first fell on me and touched my thighs (did not apologize for that!) and said these are our seats, move! I said politely if he can please find a seat in the front. He angrily said no, get up and move! His body language looked and felt like he was going to put his hands on me again! I was scared and I moved back to the front. My friend tried to talk to him and said he didn't need to be rude. His response was that he wasn't there to make friends! Then proceeded to talk to other people about Americans this and Americans that while my friend was still in the back trying to leave!
We felt very uncomfortable and unwanted during the last part of our tour. For this reason, I would not recommend this tour.

Think twice about booking this tour - The golden circle tour
Was ok but rushed would have liked to spend more time there.
The coach driver got stopped by police and received a speeding fine, then he went fast over a bump and the people at the back bumped the heads on the bag holders .
As for the Northern light what a waste of money . Why get us to stand for 2 and half hours in the freezing cold -10 knowing that there was going to be no lights as it was only grade 2 I can fully understand that it’s nature but , when I looked at the aurora map I could tell we wasn’t going to see anything.
They also said if you didn’t see the lights you can come again for free. But what if you went home next day .
Site was good thou
