• Reykjavik - The tour begins with a pickup in a specially modified super jeep at your chosen location. Your guide will greet you and outline the day’s schedule before we head to Þingvellir National Park, our first stop.
• Geysir - From Þingvellir, we proceed to the famous geothermal area around Geysir hot spring, where you can see water erupting up to 25 meters high. The area is dotted with numerous hot springs, with Strokkur being the main attraction, erupting every 4 to 10 minutes.
• Gullfoss Waterfall - Our next destination is Gullfoss Waterfall, also known as “the Golden waterfall.” It’s a stunning sight and an ideal photo spot, with water cascading down three tiers of lava layers, showcasing immense power and beauty.
• Langjokull Glacier - At our glacier base camp, we’ll equip you with all the necessary gear for snowmobiling, including suits, gloves, balaclavas, and helmets. Our expert guide will provide detailed instructions to ensure you’re ready for the glacier adventure. You’ll then embark on a one-hour snowmobile tour, with two people sharing a snowmobile. During the ride, we’ll make a halfway stop to allow both participants to take turns driving if they wish.
• Reykjavik - After the snowmobile tour, we’ll begin our scenic drive back to Reykjavík.
• Thingvellir National Park - The first stop of the day is the UNESCO-listed Þingvellir National Park. Here, you’ll learn about Alþingi, one of the world’s oldest parliaments, founded in 930 AD. You can also observe the American and Eurasian tectonic plates and the resulting rift valley, which is clearly visible.
