Fantastic trip - A great day, very well organised trip and our guide Gunner was very knowledgeable. We felt very safe on the snowmobile experience and I would definitely recommend this.

Fantastic!!! A must do! - We booked this excursion in February 2025. The bus collected us from our nearest stop and took us to the bus depot. There we joined a larger, comfier bus which took around an hour to reach stop 1. Stop 1 was the National Park, which had a viewpoint, cafe and shops - we were allocated 30 minutes to wander around. Stop 2 was around 30 minutes to reach, this was Geysir which had the natural springs. Again this stop had shop, cafe etc and we were allocated 45 minutes. Next stop was 10 minutes away, which was the waterfall. This was a 30 minute stop, again food and drinks etc available. We then transitioned into an off road truck for the next part of the journey. We were around 50 minutes to reach the snow mobile which was just fantastic! No weight restriction. Suits available up till 4XL. An amazing excursion. We then returned to the main bus and was 1h40m total journey back. Just fantastic, highly recommend.

Most beautiful of sights. Magical - My grandson (12) was hesitant but ended up loving it with his grandfather steering. I was on by myself and having never ridden a motorcycle or any vehicle like it was challenged. The surreal beauty of the stopping point made the trip worth it.

Reykjaviktory! - Shoutout to Flosi, made our trip out to the base camp very informative and comfortable, with some very cool stops along the way such as the fissures, geysers and the waterfall. Make sure you're prepared for a frigid wind! Snow mobiling was a highlight!

Half of the trip was cancelled and still awaiting refund - Half of the trip got cancelled due to bad weather so we couldn’t do the snowmobiling. The golden circle was alright but we was promised a refund for the part of the trip that was not provided. We have not received anything and still awaiting a refund. Not happy at all to be honest

Meh - A long day with more sitting the than we expected (eight plus hours partially due to conditions on the final leg)). The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. But we expected more than 40 minutes (max) of snowmobiling with a ten min break in the middle. We would recommend it for people who would like to get a taste of doing something outdoors, but not those looking for adventure. We snowmobiled in a line at a slow pace. It was a cattle call of 80 of us. Slooooow on the snow machines. And getting there was not for the faint of heart with a large bus that slid off the road and down an embankment. The driver handled it well and for us back on the road, but this ended up being a 12.5 hour day of mostly sitting in vehicles. Stops were nice (short walks because we had a half an hour at the geyser’s half an hour at the waterfall 10 minutes an hour geysers and a waterfall). Cool to get outside the city, but know what you’re signing up for. Sent from my iPhone

Bad service - The driver did not come to pick my wife and I up. I waited in the lobby for 40 minutes and no one showed. I was not given a refund. I would not recommend booking this tour .

Dishonest unprofessional company - This company is dishonest and unprofessional. They cancelled our tour the day of for no reason. The weather was so good I contacted this company the day before my tour to make sure we could still go if it wasn’t currently snowing. They responded back by saying the glaciers accumulate snow there so even if it’s not currently snowing they operate this tour all year long because it’s always snow. Then the day of the tour they sent me the most unprofessional copy paste email (picture attached) saying my tour was cancelled due to unfavorable Weather conditions. The weather was perfect. Clear skies, no rain or anything. I replied what’s wrong with the weather. They lied and said the weather was too bad to go out. I responded back and asked why was my tour cancelled after I confirmed and the weather is perfect. They never replied back. It was our last day that they almost ruined but I ended up calling another company last minute and they told me the weather was perfect and we booked with them. You can see in my pictures that the weather on that day was beautiful, clear skies and no reason to cancel. Furthermore when we went to the falls we seen the big trucks that take you to the snowmobiles out there with guest. I also ran into guest who went snowmobiling on that day and they said it was beautiful so this company just flat out lied and apparently ruined several people’s vacation. I do not recommend them. Book with a more reliable & trustworthy company.

Don’t book with visitor and Reykjavík Excusion company - Do not book with Viator and Reykjavík Excusions. We booked this tour left standing for over an hour in the cold at the pick up point, on calling then they said it was canceled yesterday due weather. No txt no call no email. Wasted our day.
