Great, small group. Definitely worth the extra cost compared to bigger groups. - This was an excellent version of the Golden Circle tour! Our driver, Svabbi, was really nice and very informative. He also found us some extra stops to visit Icelandic horses; as well as saving us money by suggesting tomato soup at the bar rather than restaurant of the tomato factory. We had such a great day and would really recommend this specific tour.

The benefits of a small group excursion. - While the weather was variable and at times raining, our guide showed us not only the usual Golden Circle attractions but also a number of "small diversions" where he discussed and showed us how residential schools have a different meaning in Iceland, an up close encounter with Icelandic horses, hothouse tomato farming, and what a geothermal power generation plant looks like up close. A great experience, highly recommended.
