The morning or afternoon flight includes a touch down at the top of one of the mountains near the city. Have your camera ready to capture breathtaking panoramic views, and then fly back to Reykjavik. This total duration of this tour is 30-45 minutes, approx.15-20 minute guided helicopter flight and a 15 minute landing on a nearby mountain.
- Due to comfort and weight / balance of the aircraft, passengers weighing over 120kg. will be required to purchase an additional ½ seat. This is payable directly to the tour operator on the day of the tour.
- Duration of tour is based on an approximate basis.
- The landing spot for this tour may change depending on the weather forecast for the travel date booked.
- The pilot will always make the decision according to the safest weather conditions.

Directions: The Domestic Airport is in Reykjavík City Centre, a short 5 minutes drive from the main shopping street Laugavegur. Please note that we are on the East side of the aiport, behind Icelandair Hotel Natura and in between Isavia and the domestic airline Eagle Air. We are NOT on the West side where the domestic airline Air Iceland is located.
Unfortunately our address varies between GPS types but one of the following should work: Building 313 / Hangar 1 / Nauthólsvegur.

Amazing activity - Amazing views, great pilot, fun trip. Our pilot Max was very fun and informative. The waterfalls were very pretty, albeit a little frozen.

A definite must do in Iceland. - We flew with an amazing pilot named Max. He made the experience fun and very knowledgeable. Landing on summit was so beautiful with the views. Would recommend anyone to try this at least once in your lifetime.

Amazing adventure - Absolutely stunning experience, 100% recommend if you have the time. Pilot was awesome, staff was super friendly. Weather was iffy so they were good about rescheduling

Amazing Hot springs tour. - First time doing a helicopter tour. Saevar was an excellent pilot, explaining so much about the lava fields, eruptions and so much more. Visiting the hot springs was so interesting and mysterious with the billowing clouds of sulfur scented steam!

Great trip, we recommend to take the tour with Norðurflug. - This was a great trip! We went on my birthday, me and my husband, my daughter and my brother. All of us enjoyed the tour greatly!
We flew over Reykjavík and the nearby towns and we enjoyed it!
We stopped at the mountain close to Kleifarvatn and had a great seenery over the area. We recommend a tour with Norðurflug:)

Amazing ride + Mountaintop view of Reykjavik - Our trip was awesome! The pilot was very kind, the helicopter was sleek, and the office was very cozy. We also appreciate how clear the company's instructions were before the flight and how responsive they were. It was my first helicopter ride ever, and I loved it! One of the more affordable options that I saw on this site for helicopter rides, and I really enjoyed it.

Wow - This was amazing! The pilot was so calm and wonderful, due to that this was the first time for us flying helicopter. After just a few minutes the nerves was stable and the view is unforgetable so i would really recommend doing this a 100%! Dont let the nerves get to you, just do it and you Will have memories for life!!

Feedback - The pilot was awesome. Very nice fellow. The only complaint I have is I was told at the office that the ride was 1 hour but the helicopter ride lasted only 30 minute's

Not worth your money! - I’ve done a few helicopter rides before. This one was definitely the worst. Totally not worth the money! They just take you straight to a bare mountain top and stay there for 15 minutes for you to take pictures, and then fly back. There was nothing to see on the mountain and super windy! The pilot didn’t talk much the entire trip. We were really disappointed. We wish we didn’t waste our time and money on this one.
