- Reykjanes Peninsula - A volcano erupted about 19 miles (30 km) from Iceland’s city, Reykjavik. This is the third time in the last two years that this area has seen an eruption. This eruption brings both amazing natural events and worries for the people who live nearby. Let us find out more about what is going on with this volcano.
Only five or six seats per craft will be available, ensuring a spectacular perspective and an intimate interaction with the volcano. Please remember that eruptions are a natural occurrence that may or may not be active during your visit.
Before this eruption, the Reykjanes peninsula witnessed such eruptions in the 14th century AD. More Interestingly, some 50000 earthquake jolts have taken place following this eruption.

Amazing! - We trusted Glacier Heli to fly over an active volcanic eruption. The flight went very well, the pilot was adorable and the whole team very friendly. A memory etched in our hearts forever!

Awesome time - We were here at the end of a Viking Cruise and we were notified that the volcano was not erupting but it would still be spectacular to see. It was!!! The weather was beautiful and we landed in a lava field to have a look around. Our guide/pilot did a great job of getting all of us a great view. He flew over both the Sky and Blue Lagoons and pointed out other popular places. I would recommend this tour

Would have been amazing if I saw it - While I was disappointed that my tour was cancelled due to weather, I was impressed by the staff's understanding and flexibility. They offered a full refund without hesitation and even allowed me to wait in case the weather improved. I'll definitely be booking again in the future and hope to experience the tour as planned.

Wonderful experience - Our pilot Tashi not only showed us the lava fields but also told us a lot about the history of Reykjavik, gave excursion tips and highlighted landmarks. Of course, she has more than ensured through numerous turns that everyone really sees everything. 10/10 totally recommend this operator.

better than a roller coaster - The pilot was polite and very good!. The volcano didn't work but still a great adventure. The helicopter is also one of the best.

A superb first experience - First time by helicopter for us.
It was a great experience, a very good welcome, a nice driver, good sensations... we can only recommend! Just a shame not to have seen molten lava:-)
