Fun but long day. - This is a very long day but completely worth it to see glacier lagoon. Our driver Tomak (sp?) did a great job and got us back on time even with rain, snow and road closure. Denis was very informative and did a great job leading our tour.

A must see when in Iceland! - This is a long tour, but totally worth it. The time flies. There is so much to see. I'm not sure where Matt, our tour guide gets his energy, but he kept the day flying. We loved seeing the glaciers and icebergs in the bay. Go on the boat ride in Glacier Bay. Riding next to icebergs was amazing. Picture opportunities are endless. We got our best photos on this tour. If you get the luxury of having Matt as your tour guide, you will learn all about the geology of Iceland. He is an amazing tour guide with a great sense of humor. We also loved the backstory of the folklore of Iceland. It is a visually stunning tour. I highly recommend it.

Amazing Adventure - Experiencing the beauty of the black, diamond speckled, beach and magnificent glacier up close and personal while also listening to Dooley’s stories was a journey I won’t soon forget!

Loved this excursion! - It’s a long day but totally worth the extra time! The waterfalls, Diamond beach and glacier lagoon were amazing!! Spend the extra $ to take the boat out on the lagoon. We got to see seals swimming. As a bonus we got to see the black sand beach and an amazing sunset on the way back to Reykjavík.

Fantastic tour with a great guide! - I joined this tour after my flight to Iceland had been cancelled and sadly could not join my six-day tour. The pick-up was smooth. For a solo traveller, nothing is more gratifying and comforting than knowing you went to the right pick-up station and that the bus arrived punctually. I always fear I will miss a tour because I have gone to the wrong pick-up spot!
Our guide Jennifer was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. She made the tour very smooth and enjoyable and was very clear about when we had to meet after each scenic spot. I also particularly loved how considerate she was with her commentaries throughout the tour. When we were on the way, she explained certain sights that were on the side of the driver and said that those sitting behind her would see the sighs again when we were on the return journey. What I did not expect was her bringing up the same scenic places again on our return journey, highlighting the things again to those who did not get the chance to see them on their side earlier on. It definitely made me feel cared for and that she wanted everyone on the tour to be knowledgeable about places in Iceland. Her commentaries were also insightful and entertaining — just the right amount of facts for tourists who are on a 14-hour day tour!
I’d say you’re very lucky if you have Jennifer as your guide! I loved this tour very much and would recommend it to anyone.

Not as advertised - It is not usual for me to write a review but I didn't want to ignore the option to rate the experience we had. The tour specifically said it was for no more than 15 people and we ended up on a bus with between 30-40 people. The experience of the large group tour was not what we expected and we had no option to leave once we began.
The destinations were amazing and we are glad we went to Diamond Beach and the Glacial Lagoon, however, it really just ended up being a means to get there. Our tour guide was nice, but with such a large group we were just shuttled off from one destination to the next. It seemed the sole purpose of the trip was to get there and take a bunch of photos. I recommend finding another tour as this was not as advertised. I'm very disappointed about the bait and switch and I'm not exactly sure how that happened.
