GO! Great bus tour! - I went on this tour on Nov 26, and it was fantastic! Even though daylight hours were limited, the tour was well worth the time (14+ hours) and money. We stopped at a couple of the icy waterfalls, at Vik (viewed the Myrdal church from below; walked out on the black sand beach), and at a massive glacier off in the distance. The highlight by far, and what makes this bus tour unique and amazing, was Diamond Beach (black sand ocean beach full of icebergs and ice chunks) and Jokulsarlon glacial lagoon. Both were spectacular (especially the beach). The drive through the Icelandic countryside was long but beautiful with mountains and glaciers often on the inland side and the ocean on the other side. Our tour guide (Asa?) and driver Lukasz (spelling?) were terrific. I highly recommend this tour!

What an exceptional trip... - What an exceptional trip to the glacier lagoon and south coast of Iceland! We got so lucky and had clear skies so the entire drive over to the lagoon was magical. Geri our guide and Tomek our driver were amazing and professional. Geri shared so much valuable info and even shared his experience living in Iceland. Even on a big bus, the tour felt special and personalized and magical. I highly recommend booking this trip when there is good weather, you will not regret it. Glacier lagoon is magical and diamond beach is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Don’t hesitate to book!

Highly recommended! - This is a very long day, so I would not recommend having dinner reservations or a northern light tour on the same day.
Gary was our guide and he was fantastic! Gave us quirky stories of his experience in Iceland and even had detours for us (seeing the northern lights at the end of a long day was a highlight. NOTE: this is not guaranteed so don’t expect it).

Best glacier tour in Europe! - This trip was absolutely incredible! Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. Easily the best glacier tour Europe, we even saw the northern lights in our way back to Reykjavik!

One of the best days of my life - Vik the Viking and Magic Mike delivered an absolutely unforgettable experience! From the moment we started, Vik was wildly entertaining—her humor, energy, and passion made the entire journey feel like an epic adventure. Beyond her charisma, she was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about every stop and ensuring everyone felt taken care of.
We were blessed with perfect weather—sunshine and clear skies made the breathtaking Icelandic landscapes even more magical. Every stop was a highlight in its own way: the unique charm of each site kept the day exciting and full of surprises.
Diamond Beach and Glacier Lagoon, however, were the crown jewels of the day. I was left utterly speechless, staring in awe at the surreal beauty of the shimmering icebergs and the black sand beach. These moments felt like stepping into a dream.
As if the day couldn’t get any better, Vik and Mike pulled over later to give us a front-row seat to the auroras. Watching the northern lights dance across the night sky was a memory I’ll treasure forever.
This wasn’t just a tour—it was an experience of a lifetime, made even more special by Vik and Mike’s expertise, enthusiasm, and thoughtfulness. I can’t thank them enough for a day I’ll never forget. Highly, highly recommend!
THOMAS…. Blah! Haha

Best of Iceland in 1 day! - I went on this day trip on 10 Nov. I was picked up from bus stop 12 at 7.15am and came back at 10.30pm. Geri is a great tour guide and I truly enjoyed this trip!
This was our itinerary. I think they adapt the itinerary according to the condition of the day.
Stop 1 - Hvolsvollur. Short break here where we got our quick breakfast and toilet break.
Stop 2 - Vík i Myrdal Church. We stopped here to take photo as it will be dark at night when we return. From this viewpoint, we can see the sea stacks from distance
Stop 3 - Gönguleið um Eldhraun. This is a lava field with moss grown on it. This is an extra stop as we were ahead of time and we saw a beautiful sunrise here!
Stop 4 - Stjórnarfoss
Stop 5 - Veitingasala Restaurant. Lunch stop
Stop 6 - Glacier Lagoon. When we arrived, it was foggy but the fog cleared and we had nice lights from the sunset. And we saw a double rainbow! If you would like to take the boat ride in the lagoon, do book in advance together with this tour as it was sold out on the day.
Stop 7 - Diamond Beach. There were ice crystals on the beach and they came from the glacier and the strong wave from the Atlantic Ocean broke them into small piece. They are not always there everyday. We saw a beautiful sunset there!
Stop 8 - Ice Cave Bistro at Vik. Dinner stop
Stop 9 - Seljalandsfoss. There were lights installed in this waterfall and we were able to see it at night. We can also walk to the back of the waterfall but be prepared to be wet!
Stop 10 - The trip was completed by the appearance of northern light. We were travelling back to Reykjavik when the guide saw the northern light and the bus stopped at Hveradalir Geothermal Area for us to take photos! This was an unexpected surprise and we were so excited and happy! We already had a great day and the northern light completed the experience!
This is a trip which brings you to see the best of Iceland with a limited time of 1 day. The places were stunning and I was just in awe admiring them. I would highly recommend this trip especially if you have limited time in Iceland!

Incomplete tour sight but still satsified - Due to very bad weather, we were advised that we cannot push thru with Jokursarlon. Fortunately, our pink-haired tour guide (difficult to remember her name sorry), had us see other incredible sights! Best effort for our driver and tour guide! Thats how it is in Iceland, weather can just change but it would depend on how your guide will make the most of it

Beautiful places but the weather not supported. - Amazing landscape & beautiful scenery but the weather is not supported, rainy &windy all day. We can’t see to much from the bus. The journey is too long with that weather, we can’t do anything in the bus except sleep 🫤. And the tour guide can’t interaktif as well because we can’t see around.
