- Vik - Arriving at a rural road only passable by super trucks you will experience a super truck ride to the roots of Kotlujokull glacier.
- Myrdalsjokull Glacier - Now it is time to put on crampons and walk towards the ice cave. Prepare to step foot in a movie-like scene as you admire the epic blue colors and unique layers of the glacier. You will see how the glacier opens up between blue and black ice walls providing you with a stunning entrance to the ice cave of Katla. Once inside you will see the true beauty of the cave created by the ever so powerful mother nature. The cave will leave you breathless with its beauty as you walk around, taking your time to enjoy all that the cave has to offer. Your certified glacier guide will provide you with expert information about the ice cave before you leave the cave and head back to Reykjavik where your tour concludes. On your way back you will have the opportunity to see the mighty Skogafoss waterfall, one of the top attractions on the South Coast of Iceland.

Phenomenal - Absolute blast in terms of the scenery and the atmosphere of the tour. The Super Jeep rides were bumpy but exciting at the same time. Our tour guide for the glacier hike and the ice cave expedition was very informative and helpful. Driver Vjeran has a great sense of humor and easily beats other guides where information was only read out loud rather than feeling alive as an audience. Also very sincere and delicate! Would definitely recommend picking up this tour in Winter Iceland.

Otherworldly Experience - Our driver Lili was the best! Not only she kept us informed and humoured, she taught us to pronounce Eyjafjallajökull correctly! We were on time to start our activity at Vik.

Exploring Iceland’s Wonders with Exceptional Guides Lili & Hawk - We had an incredible day exploring Iceland, thanks to our fantastic guides! Lili, our tour guide and driver, took us from Reykjavik to Vik and back with unforgettable stops at Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls. She was not only an excellent driver but also wonderfully informative and friendly, sharing fascinating stories and insights about Icelandic history, culture, and the stunning landscapes we passed. Her warm personality made the journey truly special!
At the Katla ice caves, Hawk guided us through a surreal, otherworldly experience. He struck the perfect balance between being informative and entertaining, explaining the unique features of the caves while keeping us laughing with his great sense of humor. Even the bumpy ride to the glacier was fun, thanks to his lively energy and expert navigation.
This tour was the perfect mix of breathtaking sights, fascinating knowledge, and great company. Huge thanks to Lili and Hawk for making it such an unforgettable adventure—we highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Iceland!

Overall great experience! Would recommend. - The tour was great and well organised. Our tour guide Lili was super friendly, super helpful and really cared for our safety. The short hike up to the ice cave was a great experience too. Our other tour guide for the hike "Hawk" was really fun and I felt safe throughout the experience. The views up in the ice cave were simply breathtaking.

Magical Katla p - Lili was delightful! She took care of us the whole trip and was very clear on instructions on meeting points and timings. Made the whole trip enjoyable, telling us Icelandic stories! Highly recommend!

Great Guide! Great Tour! - Had the best ice caving tour with them! The hike was a bit steep for me, but our tour guide HELGI was so patient with me & helped me throughout. Our guide was also funny and gave us a lot of knowledge about the ice cave. A MUST DO ACTIVITY WHEN YOURE IN ICELAND!

Climbing on ice is always nice! - Climbing on the glacier was nit as hard as I thought that it would be. It wasn't as scary either! The glacier was gorgeous. I wish that the ice cave was as exciting. Maybe the fact that it was rainy outside kept it from being bright enough for photos. Either way, we'd do it again!

Unforgettable Adventure with Lili and Hawk! - We had an absolutely amazing ice-caving adventure! The trip from Reykjavik to Vik and back was incredibly smooth, thanks to Lili, who was a fantastic driver. She ensured our safety while navigating the wintry roads, and her friendly demeanor made the long drive enjoyable.
The highlight of the trip, of course, was the ice cave itself, and our guide, Hawk, made the experience unforgettable. He was not only knowledgeable and professional but also incredibly fun, with a great sense of humor that kept everyone entertained. Hawk shared fascinating facts about the glacier and the cave, making the adventure both educational and awe-inspiring.

To come there was... - To come there was difficult. The driver was not so good (too fast, especially did not manage well the strong winds). First stop Vik, and the main bus had problems with acceleration speed and overheating engine. The bus was finally not replaced, and held for the return. Not very reassuring globally.
Then, waiting for the convoy of superjeeps to go to the ice cave. One of the superjeep has a problem in the last convoy, so additional waiting.
Then, the travel to the icecave was kind of epic under moderate snow, and hazardous road. The place of the glacier, is great. We were a little too late to see the icecave (due to the delay), and without headlamps (as another company has them), it was not so easy to appreciate the icecave. The guide of the icecave (different from the last drive) was however gentle and very competent. And we have seen an artic fox!
Overall, I recommend it, but the buyers must know about potential inconveniences at winter time.

Stood Up. We waited nearly an hour. Arctic Adventures never showed. We had to call to learn Arctic Adventures cancelled. Ruine - No call, no show. Arctic Adventures cancelled without telling us. Ruined our vacation. Viator was unhelpful and told us to contact the tour operator. Never use Arctic Adventures.
