Great Trip - This was a very good trip. We made several stops to get drinks, snacks and food. This tour bus picked us up right on time and drove for about 1:30 with a stop, to our Superjeep. Once on the superjeep it’s about another 45 minutes. It’s an easy hike to the glacier and ice cave where you can take amazing pictures. Once you’re done the superjeep takes you back to the tour bus. On the way back we stopped at 2 waterfalls for about 30 minutes where we took amazing pictures. Highly recommend this tour!!!!

Katla overview - We had lili(she was fantastic), picked us up at a stop in the morning(0900) the stop was right outside our hotel that we pre designated on booking. She gave us a great tour and all of our stops were amazing. The glacier part was a really cool and intimate experience. Very easy walk up into the glacier and our guide was great with managing the speed for some of the slower couples (like myself). Definitely take advantage of the first stop for snacks and drinks just in case you get hungry because it can be a long day

Great trip & lava field off road experience - The trip was a wonderful one. It was very well organised and we had a very great tour guide. The Katla cave was a bit if a disappointment as I expected smth bigger. But the entire adventure is definitely worth it - they took us in those monstrous trucks, drove us offroad through the lava field and guided us along the glacier to the cave. The cave itself is a rather small one but the scenery is breathtaking. Both waterfalls are mesmerising and very beautiful. We really recommend the tour for those interested to explore the second large volcano in Iceland.

Ice cave hike is quintessentially Iceland! - Our tour guide was Justin, and my teenager and I had a fantastic time on this tour. Justin was informative, funny, and nice. The sights were spectacular, and the hike up the glacier was amazing! The only suggestion I would have is that I would not recommend this hike for people who have balance issues. The hike was a bit more intense than I had anticipated. Thank goodness they provided crampons!

Amazing experience - The tour was exceptional on every level. The comfort and convenience, time allotted for each activity, and most of all, our friendly guide Justinas who kept is in good cheer with his sense of humour that interspersed the information that he delivered. The visit to Katla caves was a mind blowing experience.

Great experience - My big issue with this is Viator. They sent us 2.2 km to a pickup point, when there were pickups much closer, a few hundred metres. Our driver told us this was an ongoing issue with Viator. Otherwise, a great day out, 5 stars
