Beautiful landscapes - Incredible landscapes and a great guide Adam - a lovely guy with all kinds of interesting knowledge. Highly recommended!!

a highlight of our Iceland vacation. - "Landmannalaugar by Super Jeep" by Try Iceland was a highlight of our Iceland vacation. Their itinerary was the best: we stopped at 3 crater lakes, 3 waterfalls, and spent 3.5 hours at Landmannalaugar itself. We had enough time there to take a 3-mile hike through lava fields, past fumaroles, enjoying fantastically colorful mountains, and at the end, enjoy a dip in the Landmannalaugar hot springs. We booked our excursion on tryiceland.com and we couldn't ask for a better experience: they were very responsive and clearly communicated the prices and schedule. There was no problem when we asked to be picked up at a hotel in Selfoss on their way to the highlands. Our driver & guide, Adam, was very friendly, went out of his way to make sure that everybody was comfortable and answered countless questions not only about our trip, but about life in Iceland in general. When other jeeps stop at the bottom of the Ljótipollur crater to let their clients take a hike, Adam in his jeep drove a 2 km bumpy trail to the top of the crater: he was the only one parking there. I highly recommend choosing Try Iceland for your excursion to Landmannalaugar.

Landmannalaugar - Amazing tour! The best views we saw in iceland. Adam, the driver, is a super nice guy, very safe driving thought the roads of highlands. Incredible tour, recommend to anyone looking to see diferent landscapes than the usual spots in iceland.

Great day at Landmannalaugar - Landmannalaugar is beautiful and everyone who comes to Iceland for more than 2 days should go there. You’ll thank me. If you are lucky, you will get Adam as your driver. He was the best! He took a picture for me at the Haifoss waterfall that was way closer than I could bring myself to take. He put our group at dusk at a place so beautiful from all 360 degrees that you knew you’d never find a better spot in your life. And when you were tired and happy on the way back to Reykjavik he asked if we wanted to see the Northern Lights! Not on the list. Not required by any means. Sure to get him home an hour later. Yet that’s what he did. You cannot have a better vacation day than we in the jeep had. Maximum stars allowed! Thanks again Adam!

Very good visit to Landmannalaugar! - Adam the pilot of the super jeep was amazing , with a lot of history about Volcano, waterfalls, glacier. Landscapes are wonderfull!

amazing day - Adam was a fantastic guide. really fun to talk to and provided interesting personal experiences of Iceland. Be sure to ask to see some of his volcano photos and videos! Lots of good information and so nice to be off the beaten track. This is a fantastic tour and will take you to unique places!

Amazing tour in Island - One week ago we participated in the Landmannalaugar tour with Adam. The tour was amazing and Adam was very polite, reliable and excited about his work and Iceland. He respected all the schedule, and stopped anytime we wanted to take pictures. We had some time to hike in the area and he showed us so many beautiful landscapes. We highly recommend this tour, thank you Adam!

Very scenic landscape... - Very scenic landscape traveled with guide / driver Adam it was great. We were split up and my wife ended up sitting in rear seats that she had to get behind me and it was uncomfortable getting in and out. Other option was to sit on hump middle seat also not comfortable. Thus is the reason for my 3*** review

Good tour, bad customer service. - The tour was ok, we saw some beautiful sites but the actual colors of Landmannalaugar were sadly under the snow. The problem was that we were charged double for this tour. I believe this was a glitch on their website or booking system but we were charged twice. Despite multiple calls and emails, Try Iceland refused to refund the overcharge. They blamed the "tour operator" but as it was the Try Iceland site that caused the over charge I don't know why they would put the refund on the driver. Sadly, I can't recommend Try Iceland Tours.
